Hi thank you for your tip. It works for our Honda and I used a hot pad on the outside of the lamp to speed it up. Works wonders. Well done.

Alternatively, you can take out a bulb and have a drive on a dry day. The engine will warm it up, and the open air will pull it out.

If this repeats itself, take some silicone sealant to make sure that thing is water tight. Another trick is to put one of those moisture wicking beads (often found in new shoes)inside.

Great minds think alike. I was thinking about using the moisture absorbers that come inside pill bottles.

Thanks for the video. I think I’ll use your method to wash the dirty condensation off the inside and then get some sealer to keep it in good condition longer

You can also put a few desiccant packages just inside your housing. after removing most of my moisture I put some in and have not had a problem since.

Thanks for the update. We’re this aftermarket headlights ? I’m looking to replace mine and I’m starting to notice that aftermarket lights seem to gather water or moisture really fast. Thanks for the diy video

Yeah but you didn't find where the leak was coming from ....so this is only a temporary solution....
@darceyrice821723 күн бұрын
Alternatively, you could toss a couple of silica packets inside the headlight housing (where the bulb resides). The fog and moisture will disappear in a day or two and won't return unless you have a crack or the seals are severely failed.

Why not put a little bit of Damp-Rid water remover inside the headlights and Duct tape the bulbs connection and Silicone the headlights edges on top seams . Or use a charcoal briquettes of little bit from the Camping department or groceries stores don't use anything that got wood inside the charcoal briquettes just plain charcoal briquettes only then seal it up . Then leave it overnight and day without driving the car or truck then by day 2 ,just use a little tube and shop- vacuum to suck out the charcoal briquettes . It might turn into dust by day 2 .then vacuum it out . Then seal it up silicone rubber headlights and small lights connecters o- rings , but cleanup the o- rings first before using the silicone rubber gel made for headlights connecters and others mini-lights . Or faster drying time use a hairdryer gun with a vacuum cleaner tubes and small wrapped up metal tube inserted inside the headlight lenses let it run for just a minute and no longer than that rest in between cooling down then back to heating up 1 minutes then cooling down until no water inside the headlights lenses . Or use a blower from the shop-vacuum cleaner to blow out water .

Drying the headlight is not that difficult, but what is more difficult is how to prevent water from entering the headlight again...

Just Drill A Few Small Holes In The Back Of The Plastic Housing Under The Hood To Allow It To Breathe And Release The Moisture! I Speak From Experience! It Works! ✌️
@aaronmonroe79322 жыл бұрын
I was thinking about this. Where exactly?
@joesinegal81672 жыл бұрын
@@aaronmonroe7932 If The Backside Of Your Headlight Fixture Is Either Plastic Or Metal, Just Drill A Few Hole In The Upper And Mid Sections to Allow Air To Flow Through And Release/Dry Out The Moisture. After Drilling The Holes, You Can Use A Hair Dryer To Blow Warm Air Into Holes To Remove The Trapped Moister Inside Of The Headlight Fixture. Just Leave The Holes On The Back Side Open To Allow Any New Moisturizer To Escape Through The Holes, Due To The Constant Airflow. Just Make Sure That The Holes Aren't Extremely Big And Not To Small (A Medium Sized Hole Is Perfect), So That There's Adequate Air Flow. I Did This To My 1999 Lexus LS400 And It's Worked Flawlessly! I Hope This Helps You Aaron! Enjoy The Rest Of Your Day! Happy Holidays To You And Your Family! ✌️

The problem is you're almost out of blinker fluid in that thing. Top it off. I recommend the synthetic, rather than traditional fluid If you need instructions click this link. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2eqpIued8dkZs0
