Justin, do you have any tips for me? I tend to wrap the bat around my head and to make up for that, I tend to drop my back shoulder. Is there anything I could do to change that?
@squeakybaseball38613 жыл бұрын
Make sure that when you are in the separating process of your swing, you point the knob of your bat at the catcher's left knee, and vice versa if you're a lefty. This may or may not help.

Hey coach Justin I have an issue where my back leg kind of stays still my whole swing which makes me stick my front leg out in order to stride rather than having it a little bent. Know what I can do to fix it?
@squeakybaseball38613 жыл бұрын
I know this may sound obvious and uncritical, but just prioritize rotating your back leg
@danielbrottlund69043 жыл бұрын
As my coach always says, “aim the top of you back shoe at the pitcher and have a straight front leg.”
@squeakybaseball38613 жыл бұрын
@@danielbrottlund6904 Well, your coach is slightly correct. To be exact, your front foot should be pointing at the second baseman during the end of your swing (if you're a lefty, it should be the shortstop). This shows that you're are actually planting your front foot and transferring weight properly which prevents your foot from over-rotating in this case.
