Great video John. Appreciate your honest comments on the build and the specifics of the problem areas. But, overall, I think the model turned out really nice. Well done model and video.

Id prefer if you had atleast 7 camera angles, professional lighting and built it in a bottle. Great build John....i know those kits are frustrating

I guess if I start a Patreon page like all the other "creators".... But seriously that kit was no fun at all.

Love the video! I tend to do special hobby kits when I want a real challenge, and when I want something that can be super detailed, but I just couldn't do that with 72nd scale 😂

Great build Mr. G Yes it's very frustrating when things go not wel together, specialy clear parts. I tried to build the Special Hobby Mirage III twice. I couldn't get it together. The model (Mirage has beautiful detail but it did't went together like it should, I had to trow it away twice.

That's the same problem I had- everything looked great and I had an Idea in my head how it would look, but the fit and finish weren't very good and it became very frustrating. Thanks for watching!

It's like listening to myself as I build !!! - Great straightforward video, lighting and sound are superb, editing a little 'jumpy' but that will get better - as for the kit, well, yeah, it's a short run SH kit, it's never going to fall together like 'new Airfix' or 1990's Hasegawa, looks fine to my eye. First vid of yours that I've found & watched and looking forward to more - and you'll love the Airfix B-25 it's just 'special'. All the best from New Zealand.

1/72 is to small for my old eyes but again the finished model looks fine to me ! Any twin engine bomber buff would recognize it from 10 feet away ! Two thumbs up again , well done.

Thanks Tom! I really had to tap out because there were too many "short run kit" issues for me.

@@MisterGsWorkbench Ah, we'll see. I always wanted a Boston III (don't ask me why, I love this plane) and was really happy after I found this one. It is not a plane that you can find as usual as the common ones. Thanks for the Video and the tips included. Wish luck.

Why are you sure that PE is Eduard? Just because its czech? Well, Special Hobby is czech too, and they have an accessory subsidiary, called CMK. So that Special Hobby PE is CMK.

Hi Egyenes! I think when you look at the format of the print on the PE fret right down to the font used, it's obvious that Eduard and Special Hobby have common elements. But if you know better then I guess I stand corrected. Thanks for watching!

Hi Egyenes - I just wanted to set the record straight so I reached out to Special Hobby. Here's the response from the company: "thank you for contacting us. We design 99% of our PE parts ourselves and 95% are indeed made by Eduard." - thanks again for watching!!!

1/72 scale?? Bah! I appreciate your dogged determination to finish this thing but seriously I personally would never bother with this scale. At 65 years of age, it's just too small for my eyes to appear realistic at anyone's arm's length. I'm sure there are many who would disagree but that's my feeling. My only recent attempt at 1/72 (and probably my last) was the Trumpeter Tu-160 Blackjack which is HUGE. Also, one suggestion; some of this video excluded the model while it was in your hand. We see you...you handsome devil you...but the model is below camera range while you're describing what you've done. Keep it in the viewfinder so we can see what it.

Thanks for the feedback Kip! I realized after the fact that I didn't get good shots up close of the plane. Going forward I plan on taking closer video of whatever model I'm discussing and superimposing it over the audio. Definitely still a learning process for me and I hope to improve on the next one.
