That'll teach those cowboys a lesson!!!😊😅😂 That's like Spirit: GET OFF OF MY BACK!!!
@XENA_WP5 ай бұрын
I once saw a rodeo and while I was enjoying myself the whole time I still felt sad at how they were treating the animals. Afterwards they had the animals all in pens waiting to be put back in the trailers. They were all so adorable and I spent hours just watching the cute things. Eventually the cowboys came out and I was worried they’d start using wipes or electric prods. Imagine my surprise when all the animals started going to the cowboys and loving on them while they led them to their trailers. It was kinda surprising to see a giant muscled bull just nuzzling on a cowboys he was just bucking off his back. Afterwards I really looked into rodeos and found that it’s not just the cowboys competing, the animals compete too. The animals were trained to do this and love their riders and the riders have raised and loved their animals too. I don’t know if every rodeo is like that but it was crazy to see how the Internet portrays rodeos.

I don’t think it would be as good. In the original movie the animals don’t speak, but being a cartoon you can still see their emotions by how they’re animated. In live action you’re not going to see that. You could make a live action based on Spirit by focusing on the humans more than the horse, but then it would lose it’s soul, it wouldn’t be “Spirit” if you get what I mean

First of all these types of events are not abusive to their animals at all, even though you caught wind of some of the false information that is being spread about these events! You said in your comment that you don't know anything about this event, so let me give you a brief little rundown of what it's like. To begin with, in these types of events, the riders are required to have sheepskin and padding underneath their saddles and riggings so it doesn't pinch down on the horse and hurt them in any way. Our Spurs are not sharp at all, and every single Rodeo association requires that we use dull Spurs, but even if we do end up cutting a horse while riding, we could get either disqualified or fined. These animals are treated a lot better than you and many other people think. They only get fed the highest quality hay and grain, these animals get exercised routinely, and they get free medical care in case an accident happens. What else do you want to know
@zephyrpyrexoxo4 жыл бұрын
This discipline is technically abusive. The straps are used to cause discomfort, forcing them to buck. The riders are meant to remove the strap as soon as possible. You can tell they cause discomfort as they keep bucking even after the rider is off. So it is the strap, not the rider. The horses are neither wild or pampered. They are abused and put in discomfort. They are held in small area ‘s so the horse won’t buck when the strap is put on super tight.

@@Jess._.Equine13 the answer to your second question is quite simple: HE/SHE'S TRAINED TO BUCK. All horses, doesn't matter if they're wild, domesticated, or broke, will buck when they're having a dispute with another horse, defending themselves against a predator, or if they're just playing around and having fun. The stock contractor trains the horses by putting a dummy on them with a flank strap puller to release the strap after the desired amount of time the horse should practice is completed. Speaking of strap, the extra strap at the back of the horse is the flank strap itself. In no way shape or form does it inflict discomfort or pain because the part that goes directly on the horses sensitive hip area is covered in soft sheepskin, and it's the exact same thing as you putting on belt (you're not talking about the rear cinch on the bronc saddle, are you?).

Rodeos are my past, president, and future!! Rodeos are my life! ❤️ Here at my rodeo we do something called the money cow. It's were they call all kids ages 9-13 into the arena, and have a cow with money taped on it. They let the cow into the arena, and the Kids chase it down, and grab as much money as they can 😂 It was my favorite part of the Rodeo! Did kids get hurt? Well. Sometimes. I tripped, and got run over by other kids, but Hey! That's part of being a cowgirl/cowboy! We got dusty, jumped on the cows back, and road it until the money was gone, and it was time for us to go back up to our familys in the stands! They Also let chickens and rabbits out, kids 5-10 try to catch one. You catch it, you keep it! I love small towns❤️😂

It’s adrenaline tbh. You don’t know if the persons gonna stay on or not. If they are gonna get hit or not. And a lot of the time the horses are trained to buck when the strap is put on which is why they don’t buck without it. @@pitgroove.37_66 Horses should not buck under the saddle or rider, if they buck this strong something has to be wrong. I don't think that it's possible to train a horse to buck so bad. But even if it's possible, a horse could still hurt itself while bucking so bad. And a lot of people say that those horses are tazed to buck so much. To me, that's abusive, because any horse doesn't look happy, some are even angry. Horses shouldn't try to buck off their rider untill there's something wrong and they're eauther improperly trained and are not ready to have a saddle on, or the rider is doing something wrong. Unfortunately in every horse sport abuse happens, which is really bad. But for example rodeos and racing are pretty abusive for the horse, since they're very stressful and are made only to please the crowd. I'm not a horse trainer, however I ride a lot and understand horses really good, because I know how they think. To me, those horses don't look happy and trained to do all of this so I consider this abusive and I'm probably never going to change my opinion. There's millions in the country living a good life well cared for and loved. Put an end to their job and that's a death sentence for 99% of them. Take an interest in it and and learn about it and you'll find that they have a 100% better life than the government controlled wild horse population. Why do they have saddles ?? I could only imagine it would be harder to stay on a bull but they don't need a saddle.
@americanredneck3574 жыл бұрын
I'm no expert on all aspects of rodeo, so take my answer with a grain of salt. There are two classes of bronc (horses) riding: saddle broncs and bareback. This video features both. Saddle bronc riding is closest to how a cowboy would traditionally "break (tame)" a horse. Some people thought this wasn't challenging enough, so they took the saddle away, and left just a handle for the rider to hang onto. Bull riding on the other hand only has the rope. But there is a difference in the way bulls and broncs move. Look up some videos of bareback riding, you'll see the rider getting thrown back and forth. Bulls tend to stay in one spot, and spin rather than buck like a bronc does, so the rider can stay on by keeping balance. Hope that helps.
