Hii.. I'm testing out the i2p console on Android, and I think I've set it up enough but whenever I try to connect with it, I get an error message like this "UDP disabled and inbound TCP host/port not set".. Please how do I fix this??

Try this and let me know how it goes: 1. Open the I2P router console on your Android device. 2. Go to the "Configuration" section. 3. Under "Network Configuration," find the "TCP Port" setting. 4. Set a value for the TCP port (e.g., 7654). 5. Save the configuration changes. 6. Restart the I2P router. After restarting, the I2P router should be able to accept incoming TCP connections on the specified port, resolving the error. If the issue persists, you may need to check your firewall settings or try forwarding the TCP port on your router if you're using I2P behind a NAT (Network Address Translation).

You may have to wait a bit. Your best bet would be (for trouble shooting) to head over to r/i2p on reddit and review the posts their, most likely someone has had the same issue and has posted about it. If not and if you have already searched for it, then you should post the issue.

I disabled it initially as a knee jerk reaction. It will still work, but you won't be notified that things like the bandwidth test have finished basically.

I highly suggest that you do not use I2P or any anonymity network on a mobile device. Currently I have a lot going on but, I may try to cover this in a video in the future. As I said, for OpSec and InfoSec, I would avoid mobile devices all together though.

Unlike tor I2P can take a minute or two to kind of "wake up" I have noticed. Try starting it up and going for a coffee, then when you come back try again.

Assume, you are never safe. That said, I would always advise against mobile versions of Tor or I2P. Try to stick with either Tails (for Tor), Whonix, OR Prestium (for I2P).

Unlike Tor, I2P takes a few minutes to fully load up. My suggestion is you get a cup of coffee or something and then try back in 5 or ten minutes. You see I had the same thing in the video just a wait a bit and try to refresh.

followed every exact instruction but right off the bat my windows I2P UI looks different than yours and i have no i2p button in the top right. rewatched this video like 4 times to make sure i didnt miss anything and still doesnt work. been trying off and on for like a year trying to make i2p work and no tutorial can make it work. dread will never grow if someone whose being using the darknet since agora cant make i2p work easily, imo.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with I2P despite following instructions. It can be frustrating when things don't work as expected, especially when it comes to technical issues. I don't suggest you use a mobile device. There is a new operating system that actually uses I2P as it's default called Prestium, I just posted a video walkthrough of it.

had the same issue, does it just do nothing on the page? Does every eepsite not work and suggest non-existent jump links. There are MANY causes for this, I'm assuming you've populated your subscriptions like I did and still have problem. My wierd answer was restarting my router (forgot password) and turning off all firewalls (with Linux you don't need them, you decide which applications use which ports and they're closed by default) and it worked. Then, still not being able to access mail server I tried i2pd, which had everything working fine, until I screwed around with settings (putting them back didn't help, I was in the same situation as before) Once I --deselected and deleted i2pd from rc defaults and restarted I had mail service and jump links (after importing a hosts.txt that I had no idea I downloaded *tl;dr* Idfk, but if you get it working save your hosts.txt on your box somewhere it won't be deleted. My stories weird.

So, I am no I2P expert, first and foremost. I do think that you may need to enable port forwarding on your router, or try that out. . Your error message states that the issue is with the listening port. You may already have an instance of I2P running then so I would look into that.

This is not a great tutorial. I’m sorry. All it does is show you how to get into dread via I2P, but nothing about how it works, how to protect yourself, why there are things you should and should not do. If your goal is to go on Dread (if it ever comes back which it’s not), fine. Otherwise find another guide. Not to mention doesn’t it seem a little suspicious that an ex-con from federal lock up for vending on the markets is even allowed to talk about this kind of stuff and show people how they can access this kind of stuff? Even if it is allowed, you’re playing with fire openly showing people how to access this shit. I don’t say this in a mean way, but more of a precautionary way.

Someone who isn't me had his/her first rodeo on the Ø browser around 2013 maybe. allegedly. Now the only reason someone i don't know wanted to hop back on, was Dread. Swim tryed for months (long pauses in-between). Either unable to reach, or that low IQ Captcha pulled a "you shall not pass" on Swim. Swim Solemnly swears that he/she is not a Robot. this Video finally made Swim able to Connect to dread for the first time. Allegedly. Theoretically. i'd be really Interested to hear you break this down. I know about DDos and why sites hide behind captcha's but i am very certan i gave the Correct answer at least a couple of times... I pressed enter, it loaded until the timer expired. I pressed enter it directed me to a message saying i didnt even try to fill out the captcha. I pressed enter, unable to Connect. Anyone got any idea where the problem was/is? Will someone be able to implement some change to bring the ø router back to its golden days? If they fail to do so, what would be the sign's that the Ø router is starting to glow like Googledotc0m at 3am? I've seen a based fella here on YT (Mental Outlaw) build his own relay, it was quite expensive and involved. the Ø router is very dependent on these (or i think it is) Now my understanding is that you wouldn't need one of these things with ItwoP. The Security on T ∅ R is compromised because there arent Enough seeders. If a Mass Exodus from t ø r to itwoP where to Happen, would it turn the Network Exponentially more secure over night because every user brings new seed,relay,bandwith...things?and that seems to be the angle of Attack most of the time at the moment How long would it take the bullys to ruin the fun again?
