My name is Jay Swanson - I'm an American writer living in Paris on an artist visa. Paris (yes the one in France) has been my home for years now and I have every intention of staying here for as long as they'll have me. I write science-fiction and fantasy, vlogged daily for 3+ years, and love pizza a little too much. We've visited Paris eight times over the past few decades. At some point quite a few years ago, I started noticing the Space Invaders. At first, I wasn't quite sure if they had any significance at all. When I discovered your channel, it all made sense, and it was a LOT of fun. I just discovered your channel it came highly recommended by another KZbinr elder gal. I am still in the process of making my way through them, and upon seeing your cooking situation, I thought you might be interested in something I find very useful in a small kitchen, which is a roll up drying rack. You simply place it on your sink to create a bench top while cooking or draining the odd washed dish and then roll it up and store it away anywhere you like. I also place a chopping board on mine and use it for food preparation. I actually have magnetic hooks, which allows me to hang it on my dryer. You could do the same with your washing machine. Another useful piece of equipment might be a fold down magnetic shelf for your washing machine. When in use, open the ledge, and then you raise it to close. If you are not aware of such a product, I hope this is useful. Perhaps when your financial position ameliorates, you could look into purchasing one. Temu has good enough quality, if it is available in France.

Why by car? and not by train? Your sim will not work on most of the train journey but certainly in the cities.

Amazing how easy the SIM was - just took a few minutes to set up and one Google to see how to adjust my settings on my phone. Never again will I buy some sketchy SIM card from a convenience closet in a far flung place and get frustrated when it dies early and I can't figure out how to top it up 😂

Have you seen the film “Exit Through the Gift Shop”? That film will connect you with “Invader” the artist who created the first tile art in Paris. Not sure all of this art in different cities is his-probably not. There’s a lot of copycat art.
