I pray constantly for those around me in my life who are not saved. Co-workers, friends, family, and faces I see who pass by me on the street or those I meet in the store. Just turning 40, I have suddenly become greatly aware of how many people around us will not make it to heaven. It has suddenly become my mission to tell as many people as God sends my way, about His neverending love and eternal salvation. I am an outgoing guy, but certainly not a street evangelist. I have a big heart for our vets who have served our country, but never known The Lord even though they have walked through the valley of the shadow of death. Really pray acts over your family! When the earthquake happens and the prison gates opened, the prison guard said to the Lord, what do I have to do to be saved? And the Lord said to him believe in me, and you and your household will be saved. If you love him your loved ones are saved. I have coworkers and I gently brought them and remind them of the gifts that the Lord gives, is great and mercy, and ask them to reflect in times when they thought they weren’t gonna make it out guess who got them there?

A lot of people talking a big game here... Everyone is swearing up and down they are they are ready to spill their blood during the Tribulation for Christ. Uh huh.. right... First of all, the Great Tribulation is a time of God's wrath that he unleashes on mankind during this period. His church is NOT subject to his wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9). The naysayers can mock the rapture all they want but he will take his bride BEFORE the tribulation. We have his promise: "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth"( Revelation 3:10) Also a lot of scripture is being taken out of context by people posting here as well as false assumptions about being "protected". The ones who come to Christ during the Tribulation are NOT promised special protection by God. "And it was given unto him ( Antichrist) to make war with the saints, and to OVERCOME them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations" Revelation 13:7 When Jesus spoke in Matthew 24, he was referring to the Jews that will be persecuted by the Antichrist ( Beast) not the church. "He that endures to the end, the same will be saved" That does NOT mean a Christian must endure martyrdom as a test or they "lose" their salvation.. Jesus was simply saying those ( the tribulation saints who come to Christ during that time), and make it to the end of the tribulation without taking the mark of the Beast, those are the ones that are saved. People better be very careful about making these big brave claims about suffering for Christ. If there is one truism in the Christian community , its those who talk the bravest are usually the ones to run and hide when any real persecution comes their way. Want a Biblical precedent for that? Look no further than the disciples, specifically Peter. Big boastful Peter: "Oh, I'll never deny you Lord, I will lay down my life for you: " Until the guards slapped the cuffs on Jesus, then the Disciples including Peter ran like the devil was chasing them and went into hiding until his resurrection. These are men who lived face to face with Christ, saw his divine miracles and STILL they fled in fear when he was arrested. So all you tough people making these big bold comments about enduring- What makes you think you will do any better? I encourage everyone to rest in God's promises that we will not be here to see the Tribulation when his wrath is unleased. Throughout the Bible God has ALWAYS removed his own before his judgment/ wrath is unleashed. I find most who insist they must go through the tribulation are depending on their own "works" to save them and that is a VERY, VERY dangerous situation to be in spiritually because if that is the case, these folks most likely WILL suffer the Tribulation because they have never trusted in Christ alone and his imputed righteousness for their salvation. And I would be very careful about making big bold statements that you are ready to "suffer" because that is nothing but pride and self righteousness. The 7 year tribulation period is a misunderstanding of Daniel. “Seventy weeks (490 years) are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy". Basically, they are given 490 years to straighten up, act right and stop sinning. This is a continuous 490 years, but people took the last 7 years and moved them into the future. This is like me telling someone to build me a house in one year, and after 11 months, they stop working and say they will complete the last month 10 years from now, and still finish in the one year period I gave them. My understanding is that the Rapture will happen before the great tribulation and/or the antichrist shows up. Those of us who are Christians don't have to worry about the tribulation, cause we will be in Heaven with Jesus Christ. We need to pray for the lost.
