Something that I love about this song is that it's a sequel to Holy Orders. The pinnacle song about slaying gears now followed up by a song about being a father of a gear son. Ky has changed since the series began, and struggles with his past teachings as he wishes to be a loving parent to Sin. Sin is still a child idolizing his sun and moon, and the fear of them not being around. They both have nightmares and through their bond they can both get over them together. 'Get Over Nightmares' is Ky pushing Sin to confront his fear of the dark at a young age. ("We want light" is Sin begging his dad to turn on his night light.) Hoping that Sin can learn to be the light in the dark when he or others are scared. Nightmares don't stop happening when your older, but you learn to deal with them when they happen. (Daisuke please write more songs like this, you don't need to wait for a big update to do so.) Also I think it's "Get Over Nightmares, We can tame the darkness" edit: also think it's "Grab hold of faith, You have something *you can change*" (specifically in the second chorus)

Listening to this song enough, I realized: what if the song is about Ky, not Sin? Sin has no nightmares to "get over". But KY has the Gear Wars, all the stuff he had to fight against, his own struggles with his beliefs and faith. But now he has a son, one who is able to live free and happy in a world that accepts him without question. The world that KY and Dizzy dreamed of, and have finally created. Or I could be entirely wrong, that's also possible.

Little unrelated to the actual video, but grats on 4k subs! (I usually don't sub to channels who post the rips, but I figured I would since yours are generally the most accurate of the ones I see). The Kiske family eating good this update with every single member getting a song (if you count this one as one for both Ky and Sin). Lyrics seem generally on point, only thing I'd really say could be different is "contain" to "can change", but who knows since the actual lyrics haven't been posted yet (if at all.) Ultimately I thought "contain" hit the theme of the song the tiniest bit closer, but it could absolutely go either way. I haven't done my own transcription of this song like I did for Radiant Dawn but I think you got most of this pretty spot on, like just 1 or 2 lines that are just really hard to hear so I can't fault you. But the vast majority of the lyrics DO make sense and definently sound like they are the lyrics Also Goddamn the intro on this song goes so hard this song goes so hard 🥺 I like Sins theme but my main complaint about it is that Sin is a lot deeper than just his impenetrable optimism.
