Gday Guys, Welcome back, in this episode we are punching out to Monkey Mia in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area WA. This place is sick. We absolutely loved our time here 6 nights just weren't enough. The fishing is world class, there is plenty of 4x4ing to be done and the SeaLife encounters are all time. It is a fair detour to get out there, but we reckon its 100% worth the drive out especially if you have a rooftop tinny. Great fishing I do wish your son had a life jacket on as he stands on the seat and could easily fall in please don’t take it as criticism just from one parent to another but wow he sure knows how to fish great catch

Hey Sonja, we normally always do have our lifejackets on not sure why we didn't there to be honest but definitely noted, no offence taken. He is fish mad absolutely loves it which is great plenty of father son bonding time.🤙🎣

when you you fishing along those "northern flats" in the dinghy....do you mean on the eastern tip of the Cape francios peron peninsula? were you as far north as herald bight or Cape peron?

We fished the flats over near Faure Island, and yes out towards Cape Peron but didn't go as far as Herald Bight. Over towards Faure Island there are some deeper channels they fished really well. 🤙🎣

Hahahahaaaa Bogged did you remember to push and hold the Traction control button down for about 8 seconds until all the lights appear, it sounded like it was bogging down due to Traction control not fully disabled.. 😉

Can confirm traction control was definitely off it was soft as and didn't let tyres down. Once I deflated them it was sweet.

Yep learnt the hard way mate, but got easy enough in the end. Was super soft sand couldn't believe how soft it was to be honest.

@@EssentiallyWild Max tracks usually aren't needed they have promote them as a fear tactics ( well like insurance). I've never been stuck by going down to 8 psi. Just pump them back up straight up when out of trouble. Most of WA especially down south keep that in mind and no hard turning

like talcum powder at some beaches down south here in WA. Also not having aggressive tyres help in the sand HT's or a light A/T are best

Yeah have noticed that super fine sand and soft. We have AT tyres but not overly aggressive tread pattern but I have heard that before about the highway terrain and beach driving.🤙

Not sure how to insert a picture reply but its super easy to find, it is a few kms up the road from the RAC caravan park on Monkey Mia Road. It is the same beach you swim at when at the Monkey Mia Rac just further up towards the National Park. Hope this helps.

No worries at all, have to agree Shark Bay area is amazing adventure absolutely every where. We really wanted to do Step Point but just ran out of time, an adventure for next time 🤙
