at hottest day of the year... I wonder if ARRL would consider changing that to a more pleasing season... 73 to all... BTW I am not participating in FD, forecast is 102F that weekend and I have trouble dealing with heat but that is just me of course ... best of luck to everyone... I love the event, just not "when" its done.

yeap i am worried about our Texas weather , is my first year participating with a local club .. will see how it goes

Gonna be awful hot here in Illinois too. My dad and I along with a friend were going to setup a station but it's just not safe in this heat. We're going to join up with a nearby club and operate from an EOC building instead.
