Weather is warming up and the days are getting longer. I will take both of them. I think the temps are suppose to be close to 50 on of these days. For January!?!? I will take it. Seems like Florida has more snow then we do this year :) Crazy weather! I am sure we will get ours before the winter is up. To be honest, I am not a big fan of the value menu. Just give me the cheaper prices without having to buy a 2nd one. Bring back the $1 menu :) Now they we go! Make McDonalds Cheap Again! Sound good? Has a ring to it! Hope you have a great week Chris. We are pretty excited around here. Our oldest, our daughter, is getting married this weekend!! WOW! Cannot believe how fast time goes. Cannot believe I am that old as well...LOL! She graduated college last year and getting married this year. To a wonderful guy as well. Happy to have another son! So a wonderful weekend ahead. I don't feel sorry for those people in FL, they can have the snow now. Hahahaha. McDonald’s only charges ten cents for a slice of American cheese? That’s about half what the grocery store charges. I’m thinking about rolling over there tomorrow and buying 30 slices. I was having a discussion with a friend about how to get the most value out of the McValue menu and I came up with the order below. You would of course have to figure out the issue you mentioned in this video regarding the app if you do it. Here’s the order that I entered into the app and could have potentially ordered. I started off with the large $1 fry deal. Then, I ordered the double cheeseburger, the extra one for a dollar and I added two extra patties of meat to each burger. The total, including tax, for two cheeseburgers with a total of four slices of cheese and 8/10ths a pound of beef and the fries was 7.99. Here in my neck of the woods, McDonald’s offers free medium fries on Friday with any order, so you could get all of the food above with medium fries for less than 7.00. I’ve been tempted to do this, pay the small up-charge to add lettuce and ask the cashier to tell the kitchen workers to add Big Mac sauce (which I would ask to get free since it’s free to add mayonnaise). I haven’t done it yet, but maybe it’s something you might find intriguing if you ever get stuck for new content someday.

Give it a try. We also get the free fries on Friday, however you wouldn't able to use the value menu coupon then. It's only one "deal" per order. I've tried stacking deals before and it was a fail.

@ I guess that makes sense. It’s weird that it works with the $1 fry’s deal though. I’m certain of this because my experimental order was completed and I got the final price including the tax.
