Hey Aspyn! I totally agree what you and your mom were saying about body shaming! That being said, I worked at a mag in New York and modeled. The pressure to get thin and stay thin is insane. It VERY QUICKLY led me to anorexia and bulimia. I had to move home to be hospitalized in my home state with my family because I was 5'9" and under 100 pounds, and being told that I had an "insane" and "gorgeous" body. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what ANYONE says. You can't know if any other person in the world is healthy or not. People that are too thin can be healthy or unhealthy. People that look normal can be healthy or unhealthy. People that are overweight can be healthy or unhealthy. You just have to find the balance within yourself. I have since become vegan, gained 30 pounds, and eat nearly entirely unprocessed, whole foods that fuel my body and my soul!

You and your mom have the same relationship my mom and I had. I lost her a year ago. I promise I'm not trying to be depressing I swear. You and your mom have a beautiful bond, and it's something so irreplaceable. Don't ever take it for granted. Y'all are such beautiful and strong woman. I took it for granted until I realized that I wasn't entitled to that, and I woke up one morning and I no longer had it. Just keep on loving eachother. Yalls bond is so special

Because it's so true that if you don't like something about you, you shouldn't blame other people for the way it makes you feel and as your mother said everything is in your brain. I'm so happy someone is finally addressing this. People need to be held accountable for themselves. I definitely think that media can be impressionable and blah blah blah. But at the end of day YOU are responsible for YOURSELF. You are the only one who's going to make yourself happy. I'm in the middle of losing 15-20 pounds I gained from eating like garbage and not working out for the last 2 years. Whatever my reason may be for losing the weight, I'm held accountable. So all this hating on people being fake or whatever it may be really needs to stop. Skinny shaming is just as bad as fat shaming. You do you boo. Get yourself to a healthy mindset. Rant over 🙃😂❤️
