Hello Nicola! 👋 I love a good chatty GRWM! 😊 Those straighteners look amazing-I’d love to be able to curl my hair with my straighteners, but no matter how much I try, it just never works out! 😂 And oh my goodness, I remember Heaven 17 too; total nostalgia trip! Your hubby Andrew sounds so much like my partner Darren; he's not into parties, social gatherings, doesn’t drink much, and isn’t a fan of buffet food either. I hope you had a wonderful birthday! I’m a huge fan of aircraft, and the week before my 50th, Darren surprised me with tickets to see Concorde at Manchester Airport. It was incredible-I got to see the plane up close, go inside, and even check out the cockpit! For my actual birthday, we spent a few days in a cosy little cottage in Cumbria; it was just perfect. 😊 Aw, hello Buddy! 🐶🐾 You look lovely, and I love your dress too. Hope you both had a wonderful time at the party! xxx

I unfortunately had Covid on my 50th birthday but my daughter made it as special as she could. I had banners, balloons and a beautiful cake. She made a delicious birthday breakfast with croissants, doughnuts, fruit etc and I had it with my family.

That sounds really lovely although not great to have had Covid on your birthday! I think it’s just nice if the people around you make a bit of an effort to make you feel special - that’s all anyone wants on their birthday! That breakfast sounds delicious - I’d be happy with that too!! X

Hi Nicola. I enjoyed watching your get ready with me. I'm just like you. I don't spend a lot of money on makeup, I don't wear it that much. I know what you mean about views, mine don't always get a lot, depending on what I put up (I've not been doing it for long). Hope you both had a great time at the party. You looked lovely. 🙂

Thank you! It’s annoying as I like doing the chatty vlogs the most as I get more engagement generally and I like reading and responding to all the comments. But the hauls get so many more views. I can’t afford to do hauls all the time sadly though - I wish I could!! X
