Long time viewer here. I’m surprised how many people are voicing their opinions about your videos. I personally enjoy them and like to watch the “chill, going about my day vlogs”. I usually tend to watch as I fold laundry, wash dishes, or clean. Yes, I do admit they have become kinda repetitive but I don’t mind that at all as I personally gravitate to low key vlogs since my life is so busy and fast paced working full time and being a full time college student. I personally will keep watching no matter what content you put out because as another curvy woman trying to find her way in this world, I admire you and what you put out into the universe! I love you Sierra and you do what makes you happy! 💗

love love love your videos 🫶🏼 I’m a hairstylist so I just wanted to advise you not to pull your hair into a slick bun while it’s wet even when it’s coated with a treatment - your hair is it’s stretchiest & fragile when it’s wet, as it dries it contracts and if the strand is held tightly in a bun, it’ll snap against the tension! Just wanted to offer some advice to protect that gorgeous head of hair from breakage!

To me, this brand is incredibly shady. Gives MLM vibes for sure. Plus, there was a major problem with SA, theu left that manufacturer, only to go back after the drama died down. Plus, they gave a Veterans Day discount to only the men. Not the women. Just feels really slimy. It's not about the amount of sponsorships, it's the quality of sponsorships. Make me feel icky.

First and foremost this is hater energy. If you don’t have anything nice to say, just don’t say anything at all. Also as someone who has been a Fabletics vip member for over 4 years, Fabletics pieces last SO LONG. I literally still have the same pieces that I have since I first bought them. Like they have held up better than any other athletic brand that i have ever owned. So they are sustainable in that sense. They may not “go together” but our girl has to make her bag. Period.

Just wanted to leave a positive comment to say that I liked this vlog! I enjoy seeing the behind the scenes and day-to-day of your work days, and to me they don't get repetitive or uninteresting. It's really impressive to see how much you accomplish and how you structure your work when you only work part-time, especially knowing that a lot of the people on your team only work part-time for you as well. Hannah Witton has been talking lately about how it can be difficult as a mother and a content creator to feel like people stop valuing you if you don't show your child, and I just want to come here and say, I totally understand wanting to separate your work and personal life and I still really enjoy your vlogs, no matter how much or how little family time you choose to show!

This is the only family channel I support, cause some channels are all about the kids. I love how she's of course such a big part of the vlogs but she has privacy. @__sara__. Жыл бұрын
Tbf they make very high-quality videos sometimes including other people like the posing teacher. That's basically like producing a small-scale tv series. Plus the podcast. For some people just having a weekly podcast is a full-time job. Also, as someone who works in producing she really doesn't have a big team of people behind her. But high-quality shoots on location and with other people take a long time and effort to coordinate compared to her previous videos years ago where a main channel video was her testing products or doing things mainly on her own
@kaylaferrucci8495 Жыл бұрын
@@__sara__. but the quality isn’t very good, it’s not good enough to describe it as a small tv show. And if she’s planning so much…..why do we have no results. Same with the rest, she has a staff, this could all be done with her team. I think it’s clear she has very poor time management at best, and it’s being truthful at worst
@__sara__. Жыл бұрын
@kaylaferrucci8495 it's not proper TV (also because then she would need 3-4 times the amount of people on her team) but it's also not just sit down videos filmed in her living room doing a haul. Also, she's working part-time - and I assume so is her team. Social media requires a lot of bts work that we don't see

Wow. These comments are on steroids. Guys, social media it's a job. Since you're consuming it for free, ad revenues and partnerships pay for this job. People bullying content creators over their partnerships are eventually going to draw more and more creators to offer content behind a paywall on apps like Patreon. I understand it can be frustrating to see content you don't like being promoted. However, such is the business. Go look at what types of companies have the money to sponsor even big museums/entertainment places. Small sustainable businesses can't pay a lot for advertising. And if you don't like Fabletics don't shop from them. Also, Sierra is not and has never claimed to be an environmental expert/influencer. Everyone is free to do their part if and how they want to. She's not even buying Fabletics clothes. She's an ambassador. It's PR stuff. And companies send a lot of stuff for PR even to people who then choose not to work with them. Is it wasteful? Sure. It's also the way the job works. You are not entitled to content creators/companies aligning with your individual values. That's impossible. They're one entity and you are thousands of people. You can choose not to buy from companies you don't want to support and not to consume content from people whose values don't align with yours. But you can't bully them into changing how they work for you and your individual values. That's absurd. People are really here saying they want free entertainment without advertising unless it's something that they like... Thank you for coming to my TED talk
@11lindsey111 Жыл бұрын
She’s made “sustainability” claims before
@Alli_3. Жыл бұрын
The point is that the sustainability talk/claims start to feel very disingenuous when fast fashion sponsorships are taking place over and over. A lot of one brand try on hauls for main video were stopped due to concerns about sustainability but we're replaced with fabletics, halara etc. People can start to notice when you are sustainable when it's convenient for you and the money becomes more important aka the sponsorship. It's hypocritical to preach both.
@__sara__. Жыл бұрын
@AA-co3zk There's a difference though between being more sustainable and being a sustainability influencer. There's also a difference between content you choose to make because it's your creative idea and paid sponsorships which is how you get paid. Again, if a lot of small sustainable businesses had the funds to sponsor content creators I'm sure they would get picked first. It's also usually counterproductive to point out every time someone is not being as sustainable (but any other positive quality can be inserted here too) as they could be. Shouldn't people be happy that others are taking even the smallest of steps towards a cause we care about? And, again, at all levels in the entertainment business there are so many of these contradictions. Natural history and science museums are often sponsored by oil corporations while having exhibitions about the climate emergency. Unfortunately, those are the corporations that are willing to pay
