Such a cute look. :) I'm not Muslim, but I love modern Muslima fashion because some of the styles are perfect for fall. When I try to find non Muslim fashion for fall it's so impractical/unflattering for me. I don't want to wear skin tight leather or expose my flesh to the cold. Plus I love stylish modest clothing because so many people assume modest means wearing a bag shaped dress and a granny cardigan, but it can mean wearing cute jeans and a nice blazer.

Being a Muslim is not just about the hijabs, in fact I'm Muslim and I do not wear a hijab all the time (13 yrs) because a hijab is not too show off it is to follow Allah's commands and to show respect to your religion... This is why we Muslims really wear a hijab not to show off in, but to respect ourselves and our own religion.And if you want to wear a hijab, go ahead with it don't worry what everyone else will think because, at the end of the day your respecting your self! 😇😊

Actually if you wear Hijab you are not suppose to wear make up as its considered sexual...that's if you are following your religion. This doesn't consider Muslim behaviors so please don't say something or make it okay because you just want to blend in with the rest. Wearing hijab doesn't make you Muslim as religion become a culture rather than believe system. I'm not judging, i'm just stating the facts of the religion.

With respectful curiosity; One thing that is hard to understand is when a woman covers her hair and body, for modesty, and wears a face full of make-up, to be attractive. The only answer I've ever gotten is that they wear make up for themselves, which makes no sense when you're meant to be so modest. Sorry, I just don't understand that contradiction whatsoever.

I completely agree with you my dear sister. It's not everyone I guarantee you. I wear hijab and abay, for example, and never in my life have I worn any make up. I don't even like make up I don't own any and I don't like that my family has members who who wear make up because a woman's beauty should only be for her husband and that too I believe should be natural and not fake.

there's nothing wrong with wearing something nice that looks attractive as long as it covers and is appropriate. And when it comes to make up you can wear It but not too much. I only wear eyeshadows in neutral shades, eyeliners, lip balms and natural lipsticks and by natural I mean lipsticks that are a close match to my natural lip colour.

But I thought that the point of wearing the hijab was actually to make people focus on your intellect/inside beauty and hide your physical beauty from men and women alike. So surely enhancing your beauty just completely cancels this out? You look so lovely,girl! Now, the point about hijab is to cover your body in the way silhouette is not visible,besides hair. You showed that being stylish ( which is perfectly fine) with rules of wearing hijab goes hand in hand. Your body and hair is covered and you still look trendy. Serious question here and not being rude in asking. I am recent convert, and am wondering, how do you do wudu when you wear makeup? I have stopped wearing most makeup because of having to do wudu so often. Looking for any tips!

you can have ur wudu before you wear ur makeup, and u can pray wearing ur makeup till u use toilet etc. you can't actually wear makeup like every single day, that will be difficult.

Hello 😊 I am Muslim and I personally think that you did a great great job in not using makeup anymore.I am a recent Hijabi, and I used to and still love makeup, however because I reaserched hijab before wearing it, and why we're supposed to wear it I couldn't put makeup on myself with the hijab, it seriously doesn't match.Sister if it wasn't one of the "kabair" (great sins) I wouldn't have told you this.You had the ability to not wear it anymore so it's really great, some other girls can't do that, the western media is being a hindrance to their guidance, and they start thinking that the criteria of hijab are not for nowaday Muslima.I used to think like that too but AlhamdouliAllah I am trying to get over these things.And obviously you can't wear makeup and do wodoo because the water is not directly touching the skin of your face,same with nail polish.Girl keep going on the right path and good luck!!And congratulations 🎊 !!!

On this matter , I will just say that if water can't reach your skin, then you have to take off that "barrier" bitween the water and your face. On the other hand , makeup destroys the hayaat (modesty) that we should have , whether you're wearing the hijab (and obeying the command of Allah hahaa) or not ... It's hard. I don't wear makeup most days but when I do it usually on Mondays or Thursday's because I'm fasting and my wudu won't break. You can do your wudu before you wear your makeup.
