If you're putting spf on make sure it's the last step in your Skincare routine. It needs to sit ontop of the skin to block the UV rays and adding products like moisturiser on top means it's not as effective! Your curls are so beautiful, I'm incredibly jealous!

I have naturally very very straight hair. Everything you’re saying is true for me, but the opposite. I’ve been curling my hair in someway every. Single. Day since I experienced my first curler in middle school. When you said if your hair got curly you’d get noticeably agitated, it really hit me. I’ve been the same way but when I curl my hair and it gets straight over the day, or if I don’t have enough time to curl it enough, I’m grumpy and insecure. It just really shows the grass is always greener and we always want what we don’t have. It’s so so empowering to change that narrative though and try to embrace what you were give because it’s all beautiful. Thank you for sharing! Excited to see this journey for you.

Stick with it it took me 20yrs thanks to lockdown i left my hair naturally curly i get so many compliments on my hair so easy to do just wash and leave you will see the results my hair has grown so so long all down my back and i cut it regularly, i straightened it too for so many years ruined my hair, snapped just like yours leaving short layers i went from very short damaged bob to very long healthy shiny hair, so glad i don't waste hours on it anymore!

The rosemary oil works wonders! I suffered severe hair loss from my pcos and I started using it in January and am through a full bottle, and my bald spots and patches are gone!! My hairdresser commented on how much better it feels too

Love the curly hair !! Your natural curls are so pretty. It took me a year to fully love my curly hair. I also straightened it for years. You just have to find the right products for you. I love IGK curl cream and gel. I also love JVN air dry cream! If you use a diffuser a tip is to flip your head over at the end and diffuse if you want really big hair. This gives so much volume . Good luck on your hair journey! 💜

Holly!! You look so beautiful, you always were gorgeous but keep doing your thaaaang with the natural look! I started going natural about 2-3 years ago around COVID and I will NEVER go back! My hair, skin and body has improved not to mention my mental health!! And when you do want to glam up you appreciate it a lot more and can barley recognize yourself (but in the best way) you never needed anything to look beautiful but I can already see more life from you in this video! I completely understand what you mean. I have wanted straight hair since I was a child. I have been straightening my hair since high school and I’m now 37. I am also working on loving my curls. Curls are a lot more work for me day-to-day but I just need to invest the time lol Also, when you do straighten your hair, wrap it at night with a silk scarf and you won’t have to touch it up as much ❤

Okay, lady, I'm 37 but you have been inspiring me in so many ways! I also have been straightening my hair for 10 years , straightening my hair for over 20 years.. Two reasons, I have to wear it back for work, I have a very large for head, and I have baby hairs around my forehead that Just make me extremely insecure. So watching you embrace your curls is so lovely! Also I have to run for work and I'm a terrible runner..im worried of losing my butt and overall muscles but I'm finding it challenging to feel not tight and heavy if I lift and also run. So learning from you! I also find I might need a running vest...what do you use yours for? Just shoes do you love? How close to your run do you eat?

Holly, your natural curls are so pretty. I love this new journey for you! The crunchiness of the curls once the products have dried, it's called a cast. Scrunching it with some oil like you did usually breaks the cast and the hair will feel softy and bouncier. Can't wait to see how you go!

Hi 😊 I have naturally thin curly hair and I found after trying to get back into my natural hair journey all these products just didn’t sit well with my hair and was too much, I stripped it back just to using a small amount of oil through the ends and denman brush brushing and honestly they feel so much lighter and fluffy I love it and I don’t use a defuser either I just leave it to dry on it’s own. Trying to avoid heat as much as I can but if I do straighten my hair I always use a heat protectant ❤

There are some amazing insta accs for curly hair that have helped me massively. Hanzcurls, manesbymell, brittcurls are just 3 of them but so knowledgable and lots of tips!! Your hair looks amazing 😻🥰 - curly hair is actually way more high maintanence than straightening it but I’m also on my own curly journey and trying to embrace it!!! Xxx
