I moved across the country to get married and I miss my family everyday. It's so hard because you want to be in two places at once all the time.

I also had shin splints in Hokas. I have New Balance now and love them. I just restarted my running journey yesterday.

My dog got carsick all the time for her first year, and now she never gets sick anymore. Hoping Nala also grows out of it!

I am almost a 40 year old woman who moved thousands of miles away from home/family 15 years ago. I still miss my family. It does get easier, but as my parents age and get older, it makes me want to spend more time with them. Go back home as often as you can, but enjoy your independence and the new life experiences you’d never have had if you had stayed home. Moving, especially to another country, can truly help you grow as a human.

This time of year is a hard one for homesickness. I have moved away and lived far from my home city a few times now but I have returned 3 times after a year or two. Sometimes somewhere can seem so perfect on paper, but if your heart is still at home and you eventually choose to return that is ok too, there is no failure in that Life is all about trying new places and things, sometimes they work out and sometimes not. There's no shame if something doesn't work out or somewhere is not your forever. Nothing is permanent if you don't want it to be. It's all a journey ❤ hugs to you!

The wobbles are normal and are usually triggered by those special times of year or just seeing something that reminds me of home. I’ve been in Australia/NZ from the UK for 13years. It’s literally the opposite side of the world and the torn feeling, the never fully settled feeling has never gone away, you just learn to live with it. It’s very hard and don’t ever let anyone make you feel ungrateful for it! X
