I had never seen anyone use the DM Balm Powder as an eyeshadow primer so that was interesting! But I agree, it should probably be used only on the face. It may be a simple look but it came out beautifully. Loving the deeper, husky voice, although I def never thought you were screaming lol

True, me either. I was testing it out based on the “how to use” instructions which say it can be used to prime eyelids…we saw how that went though 🫢. I’m going to embrace the voice 😄

I am in the same shades as you in the rare beauty and DM balm. I wear together as well. I apply the rare beauty first and use the DM balm as a setting powder. My skin looks very glowy at first but the balm dries down to a soft matte. You might want to try it in different ways before you return it. It really keeps my skin matte even on hot days. When it comes to OneSize I took me a long time to try the brand but just like you I really liked the stuff. I also picked up the same blush trio & medium bronzer … I have to use a more loose brush because the pigment was nuts! I really love it! I even convinced my MIL to let me do her makeup!

Ohh Tina, I feel so validated on the DM balm thingy. I ordered it a couple weeks ago and it didn't do jack for my oily skin when used under foundation or by itself. The "best" it looked for me was as a touchup in the middle of the day but it wasn't worth the hype so I returned it.

I have the balm powders.. I gotta say it does something in the camera. And I think over time, it makes the foundation wear really well. I've never used them as powders over, but they're great as premiers or as a BB cream.

I picked up the rose inc concealer and Armani neo nude blush (they finally restocked but sold out again already) in my last Sephora purchase due to your recs. I was also sure to use your link! I love them both ! So far these other concealers aren’t saying anything. I’ll try kvd next :-) I love the Sonia g fusion series too and I have such sensitive skin that her undyed goat hair brushes are still scratchy for me. The fusion and dyed natural hair are softer.

Hey Girl, I hope your doing well and feeling better. Girl I was concerned about the Saie concealer because they said light coverage and I’m like WTH 🤦‍♀️ how will it cover anything! Honestly I understand the separation between brand & owner. But when you really think about it everyone has there own options on the matter. Personally if I really want to try something I’ll get it (I’ll think about it a bit). Because when you think about it huge corporations typically have super shady ppl hiding like Esté Laudar fired 1 person recently only because he got called out for something super messed up. No one thought they would do anything because he ran like 10 of the main departments or something

Do you think maybe you have a vocal chord injury? I think you maybe should try to get a referral. Given that your voice is your instrument, I would make super sure that you’re not making things worse if it’s injured by talking. Ooh and I finally got some Sydney Grace singles mattes! I got mystery bags Omg I am absolutely in love! No allergic reaction, they are full on color BUT they don’t look crepey, or dry it looks like it’s spray painted on my eyes! Have you tried their cream shadows?
