Chole, I absolutely love your videos. They're great. But as a trained, working makeup artist your comment about "Most people who do makeup aren't very good" was extremely insulting. Most real makeup artist don't have KZbin channels and have been doing makeup longer than KZbin has been around. Always respect the industry. Remember you never stop learning as an artist. I stand by my statement. In my opinion, makeup is an art and much of it is raw talent. Any one can do a course, hold a certificate and call themselves a makeup artist. +Ana Pagan from my experience, TONS of "makeup artists" do suck. In so many stores like sephora and inglot, you see lots of the people working there have a tag saying they're makeup artists but the make up on there faces is hideous. It's so cakey and the eyeshadows are not blended and their contours are done soooo wrong. I won't call myself a makeup artist cuz I haven't taken class (actually i did take one and I only attended twice and had to ditch it later cuz it was a very beginners class) but I do makeup for people and for runway models. It just saddens me to see that nowadays ANYONE could be considered a mua when in fact they don't deserve the title. I completely agree with what chloe is saying.

Chloe I've been subscribed to you since very early on in your KZbin career and always thought of you as a genuine and down to earth person. As a working makeup artist can I just say how upset your comments about makeup artists have made me? Most makeup artists are not bad in fact in Australia we have a great makeup industry with incredibly high standards of hygiene, reliability and expectation of skill. Sure there's a few that let people down but I have to object to the word "most". I doubt most makeup artists have done your makeup. As a woman who seems supportive of other young women (and men) being entrepreneurs this was such a flippant statement to make, edit and unbelievably still upload. The fact you mentioned celebrity makeup artists could even be interpreted to be a dig at Rae Morris (no idea if this was the case) but that's who immediately came to my mind when you wrote off our entire industry. I don't know what else to say Chloe. Poor form. 👎
