The most important thing is to clean your fans...just a little bit of dust on the fan blades cut the air movement in half..its unbelievable but very true
@TheVikke142
@TheVikke142 Күн бұрын
yes indeed, and also the Air intake, one time a week you should clean the mesh on the air intake of the tent if you have that, the dust easily blocks the mesh and also cuts the airflow by 10-15% i noticed. so if the dust builds up it wont matter how strong fan you have bc the air will just "bounce" back out.

Yea it’s my first grow and of course we got a 3 week heat wave! At first it was so hot my plants didn’t even pop out the soil. I got another AC I had laying around. And Boom! All the plants came out and are now growing faster. I’m learning! I see why people take the summers off though. So hard to maintain temps all day and night!

So how can it be 90 outside and be ok but if it gets to 85 in the grow room it harms the plant how does that work? Another thing is if it needs to be completely dark in the grow room . how do plants handle the moon and all that and not get stressed like they do in light leak grow tents?

Outdoors your humidity, air flow, sun light and many other things are totally different to indoors, indoors you are mimicking outdoor conditions but you can't get a light that's as powerful as the sun and you can't get the same fresh air they get outside so you have to adjust to get the best out of your plants with artificial environment. And the reason why a full moon doesn't harm your plant is because of God this world you live in is perfect because he created it 👍

I'm in a basement with an 8x8 and have to have a full size dehumidifier in the tent to actually increase temps! I was at 77 room but found out my leaf temp was only 72 with these LED lights so I added the dehumidifier to bump my leaf up to 77 and room to 83. After I did that my plants started growing at a very noticeable improvement. I also run Tower fans hanging upside down in corners with breeze settings and a 12 inch wall mounted hurricane up top. Acinfinty controller is way off for me at like 3 humidity and 5° room vs leaf temp for me with 3000 watts of LED. After I figures out my real VPD with multiple sesors and IR GUN its made more difference in my grow that anything

In a plastic fan, hurricane has really been impressing me the most throughout the years. I even drop them quite a few times. But this is why you always keep your eye out. Once in a while, you can buy like 10 of them for 20 bucks each or something crazy. And you just get them and replace them as they break.

Hey dudes, i noticed that If you have a Grow light with a Attatched Driver onto it, you can unscrew it and then put spacers between the Grow light and the Driver and that will create more airflow under the driver onto your Growlight and will make it a bit cooler, also have a usb fan directed at the driver that gets very hot. But if you dont have a Driver inside the tent then you dont have to worry about this. I live in Sweden and here its cold 8 month per year so i use the Driver to heat my tent on the winter.

Summa time is great, but an indoor growers nightmare. It can get upto 35 - 40c here, so battling the elements then having my 3d printers running generates a lot of extra heat. It is almost impossible for me to grow for 3 months of summer. I would love a grow space I can get an AC into and cool everything down. It is humidity (or lack thereof) that is the biggest struggle for me.

But 2, of these flippi's in a 4x4 tent corners has been great (sometimes i raise them off the ground with plastic bed risers as well.) that basically have the same footprint as the fan. Also with a AC Inifinty oscillating fan for the canopy, and lastly an old broken oscillating (no longer oscillates) blowing over the driver of my 550rspec

Hey Fellars it's not the Heat as such ita a lack of fresh unhumidified air as in more dryer ro keep the humidity down in a tent, the reason why plants rarely get heat stress outdoors is the abundance of fresh air, plants do grow bigger faster in hotter environments, like jungles and so on, you just need less humid air replacing the old are in the Tent situation, after all where the plant comes from India and Thailand, are Hot 🔥🔥🔥 Countries plants can handle the heat but not Humid AF
