I'm really trying to identify the sound in the Spectral Frequency Display in Audition, and this was great! Any chance you might do the same for mouth clicks? I think I have them pinned down but it doesn't always work. Another thing I find is that the playhead and the sound aren't always synched, so it's hard to see exactly where that mouth click is (as a total newbie). Thank you for your work! (I know first hand how hard and time consuming this can be.)

Suggest vid on settings for youtube the problem being earbuds, monitor speakers, laptop speakers, headphones..they all sound different so why bother very much? Just a default setting for my NTG Videomic and done. How would you work through that dilemma?

Check out my video on LUFS kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGLTc2x3bddrmqM You bring up a good point, you cant control how people view and listen to our content. So the best we can do is try to set a somewhat universal volume and standard and then whatever they listen on...it should sound good.

Is this going to work on FFFUHH and CHUUH? Like the plosives on the word "Four" and "Challenge".

This will work reasonably well for any small burst of breath that hits the mic.

What would your thoughts on reducing plosive on a Sure 55 host will not use a pop filter.

I love this question! Host vs Producer is the greatest battle that noone knows even exists. Try an 80hz High Pass Filter. It will help with plosives and shouldn't degrade the audio. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqjManmZnJaBiac Thanx! David O.

But you have to highlight each one? That's a drag.

Yea, the catch all tactic for plosive removal removal doesn't do as good a job as individual removal. You can smother some of them with a gentle HP filter if you apply it to the entire audio file. But this doesn't get the real bad ones usually. Thanx for watching and commenting! David O.
