LIz, your garden is beautiful. I'm new to following and new to succulents for about 1 year but I have about 100 already, plus my propagated ones. I so wish I lived in a warmer area. I live in a small apartment in NewJersey, USA, I'm in a wheelchair, w/ no access to outside for them. Following you is teaching me so very much about soil, water etc. Thank you!

Dear Liz, thank you for being there for us! Last week three mature plants were stolen from my patio, and my favorite 19 years old adenium between them. I was sad and desperate. My husband knew how to bring me back to normal life - here is LIZ - play all - in random order. Here I am, normal and thankful.

Your garden is coming along really well Liz, I know you are time poor but what you have established so far is great and you can continue to build from there. I agree, a screen would be great there to help make it more private and less likely for people to steal them too. Happy prospecting and thankyou for taking us with you and all your very helpful tips. 🤗🏵️🐞🐝

You commented on time. Australian Succulent Farm is at 80 Mount Fairy Road, Mount Fairy near Bungendore is having it's open door tomorrow and Sunday. They'll be close for a while till spring. But I believe you can also make a booking. They have an extensive collection of succulents and at very reasonable price. Look them up online or on Facebook.

Hi Liz,how many times you water your succulents on summer time?
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 жыл бұрын
Depends on the plant but most summer growers I water when the temperature is low and when the soil dries up. Video below might be useful. Thanks for watching. A COMPREHENSIVE Guide To Watering Succulents - kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3Lai6F4nNFkh9E

I’ve been following the Depp and heard trial. It’s insane. You were spot on with the black spot comment. It is entertaining, eye opening, and hopefully this brings awareness to non gender bias ab*se. It’s sad. I’m sad for him. I’m also sad for my plants that keep dying from the powdery mildew. I can’t seem to shake it on my thin leaved plants. :(
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 жыл бұрын
I think it's seasonal. In 6 years of growing succulents, the last couple of years was the wettest ever and also my introduction to powdery mildew. Been to a few nurseries and collectors and they are just everywhere at the moment.
@camtruong88082 жыл бұрын
Will the power mildew from the afterglow spread to other plants
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 жыл бұрын
Powdery mildew is mostly present in the soil, other plants, spores carried by wind, insects and other sources where they can lay dormant for years. When the right humid condition happens, they grow. They can be controlled but not completely get rid of them.

I'm wondering if an outdoor Solar Fan wouldn't solve the powdery mildew issue, $ 60 on Amazon in the U.S.
@GrowingSucculentswithLizK2 жыл бұрын
It'll work in a small area. I have an open garden and we get a lot of wind, so the fans not necessary. I did not spray these ones to let the plant build up immunity to the disease.
