It didn’t seem that you have any powdery mildew on live foliage, only on the dead leaf detritus beneath the plants due to the high moisture. Mildew on dead leaves is only a problem if it spreads to live tissue, which it doesn’t necessarily always do. You are correct that those plants should be kept drier and if possible given more air circulation and if practical separated. If mildew / fungus starts appearing on live plant surfaces a solution of 1 tablespoon baking soda mixed into 1 gallon of water with a 1/2 teaspoon of licquid dish soap can be sprayed onto the plants. The baking soda usually doesn’t kill existing fungus but it does prevent, of greatly slow it’s spread. It can be used as a preventative on plants that are extremely prone to fungus problems.

Hi Liz, I’ve used Neem oil on powdery mildew and it worked very well. It was on my strawberry plants though but can’t see why it wouldn’t work on succulents too.

I swear even though you are on the other side of the planet, way down under.. we are so intune. I just got home from buying neem oil for this exact problem. Get on KZbin to watch a few videos and make sure I'm doing it right and what do I find Liz K doing the same thing.. crazy!! I use neem for mites and other problems. My fig tree has rust on leaves and neem oil for that. Jumping worm has to go. That's like a worst nightmare for me. A worm that can just jump on me.. oh no! My biggest fear is the..... CATERPILLAR!! CANT DO IT. HATE THEM. SCARED TO DEATH!

I practically had on a hazmat suite trying to clean them. We went to my friends Halloween party tonight and I talked my nephew into being a scary clown bc my friend is so afraid. She said oh you just wait.. I'm dressing like a Caterpillar nest and putting real caterpillars all over me. That's were our friendship ends, I'm afraid . Thx again for the videos Liz K. I use hydrogen peroxide for fungus and for dissinfecting my soil mix (mainly pumice) so i can reuse it. 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 9 parts water, dilig or spray direct on infected area. But then tamad ako so if they die they die hehehe

Oregano herb is different to vicks plant which is called Plectranthus. Some Plectranthus have variety called Cuban Oregano.

I am having hard time dealing with powdery mildew, I even tried using chemical spraying it every 7 days. Should I just put them outside to have a better air circulation? I feel for you Craishel. Una dapat, patuyuin mo and soil by putting in front of the fan hanggang matuyo yung surface ng soil. Then, slowly acclimatized mo by putting outside in a brightly lit area but no direct sunlight. After a week, slowly move it towards the sun. Better yet, panuorin mo yung acclimatization video ko.
