Beautiful. So true about trying to pray first thing in the morning. It definitely sets the pace for the day. I have experienced the same thing where I have prayed later in the day than first thing in the morning. When I have prayed later, my day has been scattered and not organised, but praying first thing in the morning creates a systematic order of achievement for me and God hundred percent multiplies time. Thank you Fr Mark. You're a blessing.

I have experienced God's multiplication of time , when you first pray and then you do the rest of the work in the day. You have continued peace eventhough you have a very busy day. Amen 🙏 Jesus is wonderful 🙏 ❤

Have to be honest I would be like Mary but, would worry about Martha. I mean to sit by Jesus feet you can do housework or work anytime. Think Mary was also at the cross. There were the 3 Mary’s my grandfather had 3 sister’s name Mary must have been confusing in the house. Different days. Everyone was John or Mary in those day in the family. My dad and grandad were both John. Great teaching I love to listen to Father Mark. Like hearing Jesus teaching on you tube. I suffer panic attacks I turned off all tv and this is how I spend my days. How we need to hear this now too. Great series. Thanks for posting! I watch Father Mark! This never gets old. God’s word is timeless.

I absolutely needed to hear this. I literally paused the video to set my alarm at 5.30 with the name Wisdom 16-27,28. Thank you Fr Mark for this teaching and those Bible verses explanations. The shepherd's testimony speaks volumes, nice illustration to psalms 23.

Fr Mark the imagery in your homily was so beautiful - from ski slopes in Canada, to manna melting in the desert, to sheep drinking in the early morning dew and finally to reminding us to rest on Jesus' heart. So uplifting. Thank you!

Farther Mark in your Sermon you talk about time. I know many great athletes believe if you slow down this will help you speed up. Doesn’t make any sense, but in our human condition it makes a lot of sense. Slowing down in Prayer teaches us to slow down learn patient & get away from anxiety & anxiousness Give everything to the Lord. Silence & Surender..

I used to drive by mansions on my way to work every morning and realized that those mansions are as empty as the people's souls living in them. How do I know that? I work with a fair number of those people who accumulated tremendous wealth but have lost everything in the process e.g. family, friends, belief in God I've never meant so many miserable rich people during my corporate days. It didn't take long for me to leave and seek something more fulfilling.

Im so afraid i have committed an unforgivable sin. I cant stop thinking about that. I doubt God alot, but yet i still think about it. But sometimes i dont feel sorry. I just went to confession and now im worried that i wasnt actually sorry. Does anyone else have these intrusive thoughts??
@lorigillen19804 жыл бұрын
Maggie Gresham nothing to Jesus is unforgivable. Once confessed it is thrown in the sea of forgiveness. Now you must forgive yourself. God loves you and is with you always.
@emtrynaswim4 жыл бұрын
Hi Maggie! I understand you so much! I too struggle with these intrusive thoughts and so much more! But you know what, the best thing to do is to surrender to our Lord. Do not worry! Our Lord is a Good Lord, and He knows how you feel, what you think, and all that burdens your mind! Give all this worry and fear and all that to Mother Mary. Never let the evil one weigh you down with fear and constant worry and despair! God bless you! I will pray for you too, and please keep me in your prayers :D
@maryweisenbacher10344 жыл бұрын
My heart goes out to you Maggie. We all have sin...some are pretty bad... including my own. My advice is to spend as much time as possible in adoration. Focus on Christ's suffering and understand how our sin adds to his pain. You will feel remorse. Then you can ask for true forgiveness. Give thanks and praise- you are fully forgiven!

you see confession to a priest does not forgive you of your sins only Jesus can.
