I straighten my hair at home and I’ve been using the babyliss pro 1 1/2 inch flat iron. I got it online for $100 from Walmart and so far I would say it’s doing a great job. I used to buy $30 flat irons from the beauty supply store that would break every couple of months so I definitely agree that investing in more pricier tools is a great idea.

The L’Oréal damage erasing balm works wonders! I am not even joking, I have probably gone through 15 containers. I always repurchase and it’s so cheap so I get multiple at a time. I prefer it over high end brand deep conditioners, all day !

Hello Glam Twinz, we need a new/updated routine. I used your latest one and followed your steps to the T. With the exception of the blow dryer and flat iron at the time. I used the salon products and a month later my hair is ready to be washed. I applied heat only twice during this time. I recently purchased the Sedu flat iron and omg! Please continue doing what you have been called to do. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

The best blow dryer I’ve found is from Walmart. It’s called the red by kiss. Has two comb attachments (one regular and one with a detangler part built in) and they don’t break. Most blow dryer comb attachments are that hard plastic and when it heats up they break but this one I’m not sure what it’s made out of but it’s amazing. I used the garnier blow dry cream (green bottle orange top) and got the silkiest blow dry.

Here's on question I have. How do you ladies keep your hair and scalp moisturized while its straight? I love stretching my silk press for as long as I can because I don't straighten my hair very often. However, once I oil my scalp, even with the tinest bit of oil (light essential oils), that soft silky look goes away. When in my curly state, I'm constantly moisturizing with water or leave in conditioner, treating my scalp etc. But of course with a silk press, all of that goes out the door.

Hi ladies! Great video! Thanks for sharing all of your favorite drug store products! Oh, i love all pantene pro-v products! Especially, the nature fusion one with avacado. I also love the Loreal Elvive Total Repair 5 shampoo&conditioner as well. I also love the way the pantene pro-v nature fusion smells too. I also love the Garnier Fructis Length&Strength shampoo&conditioner too. I've noticed that Garnier Fructis doesn't call the Length&Strength shampoo&conditioner anymore. They call it, "Long&Strong," but I'd say it's the same product. Oh, I also love the Aussie Leave-in Insurance Conditioner too. Oh yeah, you can find the Garnier Fructis Long&Strong shampoo&conditioner at Walmart online. I'm not sure if it's in their stores. Oh, I've been wanting to try that Loreal Elvive Erasing Balm for a long time. I'm gonna have to get some! Oh yeah, I also love the Tressemme Heat Proitectant Spray too, and yes, I've heard you guys talk about that numerous time on your hair videos.:) Have you guys tried the, "Maui Moisture Line?" I love that line! Especially, the one for dry/damaged hair. They have a shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask for dry/damaged hair. They also have a shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask for anti-breakage. They also have a shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, and hair milk the quenches thirsty curly hair as well! I don't have any dry/damaged hair. Or, hair that is breaking but I like using products that helps your hair to prevent damage, and stop it from breaking off. Especially, you are a person that relaxes and color-treat my hair 2 or 3 times a year! You can find the Maui Moisture Line at Walmart as well.

As a pseudo-natural -I’m natural but I straighten my hair year round- can you do a video or do you have any tips on keeping the health of your hair? I’m having a hair time keeping moisture in my hair and most things that work revert it. FYI I’ve been this way my whole life and my hair is THICK and mid back length but I have a lot of shedding

So in 13:50 the girls were talking about don’t too much oil bc your naturally produces oil as well then your hair will be too oily but my hair isnt like that. Its needs a lot of extra oil. So with that being said do i just produce less oil? Could i be dehydrated? Or what!??
@MsShey-qg3hv4 жыл бұрын
If you don't already I would encourage you to deep condition weekly with heat to truly help with moisture. If your hair is always on the dryer end and you don't produce alot of oil that doesn't mean something is wrong with you but you hair shafts may absorb the moisture when you use heat with your deep conditioners. Deep conditioning really is the key with a routine for moisture. Also add a oil to your deep conditioner it will make a big difference. Look up some of glam twinz deep conditioner routines as well I think that will help you.
@teamarshae26014 жыл бұрын
Ms. Shey i only deep condition weekly when my hair is natural. During the winter I’ve been wearing it straight bc its easier to manage. I probably need to go back to my old regimen. Deep condition, moisturizer, and felicia braids and wig lol.
