It’s more important NOW than ever to start learning how to do your own RV maintenance.
This video is a follow up of my last video:
“2022 RV Predictions • I Hope You’re Paying Attention”
• 2022 RV Predictions • ...
Starting today & every week going forward to the end of year I’d like all of us to commit to two things:
1) All of us commit to learning something new about our RV every week. Here’s what I mean:
- We all have different kinds of RV’s and all us have a different understanding of them & the systems in them. For me personally I’m always reading about something about RV’s practically everyday. Sometimes I’ll read a story on a blog, watch a YT video or read a post on a RV forum that sparks my interest. I may not even have that type RV, that system or experienced the problem they did. But it caught my attention. So I’ll zero in on that subject and I may spend an hour or two digging into it to better understand that subject. That’s what I’m suggesting to you. Consider it going to RV school.
2) All of us commit to doing at least one maintenance item on your RV once a week. It can be a simple item or it can be more involved. If you can’t think of something to do very week, you’re not looking hard enough. And that is really what performing PM is. PM is Preventative maintenance. It’s things you do on a consistent basis to PREVENT bad things from happening in the first place.
AND THEN…..come back here to this video and write in the comments what you did every week.
Not being afraid to learn and getting your hands dirty is the path to freedom and self reliance. In todays world you can learn anything you want. We have a wealth of knowledge and information at our finger tips. We just have to make learning a priority in our lives.
SAFETY
The more you learn and the more you do, the more you’ll know how to approach and fix different things safely that come up. Start small if your new to working on things yourself. This is especially true-but not limited to-electrical things. Having a good understanding of how electrical things work in RV’s is important before you begin a project or an upgrade. So get some basic knowledge and understanding on how to diagnose common electrical problems with a multi-meter. You can do it safely if you learn. Don’t be afraid to learn.
If you need to work under your RV you’ll have plenty of clearance and be safe if you have a pull behind trailer or a 5th wheel just sitting on the tires in most cases. On a gas motorhome don’t use or rely on your leveling jacks to raise it up to work under it. Most gas motorhomes-like ours-have plenty of clearance to slide under it just sitting on the tires. But if you have any type of motorhome, or any other type of RV that’s close to the ground, run it up on wooden ramps under the front and back tires to give you the clearance you need to work on it safely. There are other ways to support an RV that’s to close to the ground like axle stands and so forth, but using wooden ramps or stacking leveling blocks is the easiest and safest way to do it IMO.
In summary:
1) All of us commit to learning something new about your RV every week.
2) All of us commit to doing one maintenance item or a PM item on your RV once a week and then come back here and share what you did.

I’m a 60 y/o solo female camper. I just did the first week of maintenance……started small and cleaned my A/C filter inside and cleaned the coils on the roof unit. 😄 Also, I just ordered a multi-meter. Electrical work is something I haven’t tackled yet and my brother is a master electrician. So it’s time to learn!! CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!

I also just got a multimeter and trying to figure out why some clearance lights aren't working. I understand the grounding is essential for lights to work, but I'm a dunce when it comes to electrical.

Lesson 8: Onan 4000 generator oil change and maintenance. If you haven't watched Martin's master class on RV generators you really need to! I watched the videos, downloaded the user manual (they didn't provide one with my generator) and bought the parts I needed. I guess my generator is a new model as it doesn't have an oil filter (not that I could find in the manual or on the generator itself). I just needed to change the oil and the air filter. It was very straight forward. After I changed the oil and air filter (yes I bought 2 filters so I have a spare). I then cleaned out the inside with brake cleaner and paper towels. The only difference I did was use dialytic/contact grease on all my power connections. Generator fired up, all good to go for another 100 hours or 1 year, whichever comes first.

This week I downloaded and printed all the user manuals that were incomplete or missing from the documentation provided by the dealership. Having printed material helps me to learn the systems and I do not have to rely on a computer/internet in case of an emergency. Martin-your content is priceless.

Let me first say, I have been watching your videos for a few months now. We bought a 2006 Aspect Winnebago 23 D in December. New to rving we were so excited. We had been watching different you tube videos for over a couple of years just trying to learn where to start in purchasing and finding what we actually wanted. We are not really campers but wanted to just take small weekend trips with our two fur boys. Being 66 & 77 we didn't want to have something too big. Because of your videos we have been able to learn. I listen to you while working at my desk during the day. I have watched/listen them several times and learn something new every time. Again thank you and one day we may run in to each other. If ever in Cajun Country I will fix you a good meal.

Tomorrow I will be picking up my 2008 Fleetwood Fiesta LX from the RV repair shop after 4 months. Good Grief, that is expensive. Almost 8 Grand. The reason I didn't replace the roof myself is because the Insurance picked up all but $500. BUT, I have been helping my son chase down electrical problems in his 1991 Fleetwood Flair. Incliment weather (sometimes we don't get up to freezing during the day) will slow us down some, but I guess we will have to double-time it. LOL Thanks for all the information and tips you provide. I have had the coach only since June 2021 and have done most all of the PM items you suggested. It had only 19,000 miles on it when we purchased it so am going to run thru the chassis service items that may or may not have been done (no maintanence records.) Thanks again !!

Great as always, Martin. How about a 3M list? (Marin's Martinizing Maintenance schedule.) Yeah, some things are time sensitive, others by mileage, some seasonal or whatever. But a simple list of the "must do" items and list would be helpful for everyone. If you wanted to go overboard, add a "suggested" or "Martin's Schedule" would be fantastic.

Lesson 5: After watching your video on AC cleaning Martin I've now learned how to do it on mine, and you're right it really wasn't that difficult. All nice and clean, filters cleaned, coils all straight and shiny, all the crap blown out and even add some duct tape (the silver stuff) on a couple of places that ripped or had some small gaps. I even washed and 303's the AC plastic cowlings and they look brand new! I updated my maintenance log and tomorrow I plan to run the generator under load for 20-30 minutes (as the manual says) on a monthly basis, check the hours and the oil. Since it's spring I may change the generator oil even though it only has 14 hours on it, might be a good thing to add to my spring maintenance routine and do every spring. Will update with lesson 6 if I change and service my generator. More to come.

Week ending 2-19: Flushed out the water heater with white vinegar. It was pretty dirty and had a lot of mineral deposits. I ended up flushing it with my wand from the bottom plug hole and the top hole where the high pressure valve goes, along with turning on the main water to get it flushing from the back too. It took me 10 minutes of this fresh water flushing to get out all the debris an deposits. Last time I did this was 2-1-2021. After seeing the mineral deposits I should of done this 4 or months ago. This was a good test to see what happens when I do it just once a year.

You nailed it about RV electrical troubleshooting. I just spoke to a few rvers this week that said they have no confidence with to repair AC/DC related issues. Personally I was so pleased to troubleshoot my gray water tank sensor that was always showing full. I realize it was not the tank rather a bad ground wire.

I took your challenge to heart and how much more I know about my trailer is incredible. I just finished a huge and satisfying project that took a lot longer that I thought. I have downloaded all the information I could find on every component of my trailer, from payload capacity to my Shurflo by pass pump. The more I got into it the more there was to learn. I have sorted out you tube videos on tech info as another resource. I have a hard copy of all in a file box for reference and am working to get it all digitized. As a 70 yr old solo camper with my first trailer this exercise has made me feel so confident. I am absolutely not freaked out by the black tank and have taken the lid off every access panel to check it out. Never would have done it without this challenge. Now, if I could only master backing up the trailer.🙃🙂

Week ending 3-19 Removed all 10 TPMS sensors, checked battery voltage on all batteries and then applied a very little bit of my 3M Silicone/plumbers grease to all the "O" rings on each sensor with a Q-tip to keep them from drying out and cracking. Keeping moisture out of the TPMS sensors is important. How many of you do that or have ever thought of doing that?

Hello Martin, my wife and I watch your videos all the time and we have learned a lot from you, thank you Sir!! We have a 2019 GD Solitude 5th wheel trailer. We just sold our home and have started our fulltime RV living!! So to participate in the 52 Wk Challenge, we changed out our 50A two pole breaker this week, it kept tripping. I have read where electric breakers get weaker every time they trip so we decided to change it out. 15 bucks at Lowes and took 15 minutes to change out. Tomorrow we will remove the hubs on our 2019 Solitude 5th wheel and check the brakes and bearings. This will be exploratory surgery to see if I need to get new brake shoes, bearings or other items. Then we plan to order the needed parts and replace them in the next few weeks, repack the bearings and we should be good for another year. I look forward to reading the other comments. Thanks again Martin.

Checking the brakes and bearings is a smart thing to do. You might also consider carrying a spare a top leaf spring. This is the one that attaches to the frame. They are known for braking right at the hole where they bolt onto the frame. Research it. I know of two people this has happened to on a Solitude.

Hi. Well I've been busy on doing maintence. We set off three days ago on our first trip. I checked both the coach engine and the generator, I changed the oil, it's first at 50 hours. I checked bolts both under the coach and in all bays. I found 3 loose bolts in the bays all relating to the slide mechanism. i'm really pleased I did before loosing them and having bad things happen. I also checked all fluids and tire pressures before setting off. We arrived at our campsite here in central Florida yesterday. It was a hot day so I wanted to get the AC running straight away. i checked the electric pedestal with my multi meter before plugging in my surge protector, all was good, then 5 seconds, or less the surge protector popped and turned red! i unplugged immediately and stowed the 50 amp cable back in the bay. I then turned the generator on to power up the AC. It turned on but 10 mins later switched off. There was an error message on the domestic thermostate E7. I looked up what that meant and it said no 120v coming into the coach. I checked the generator and one of the 30 amp breakers had tripped so I reset that and tried again and the same thing happened, it tripped again. I was stumped and couldnt find anything to help online so I called a local mobile tech. Luckily he came out this morning and after checking on the roof that there was no power to the AC he looked at the transfer switch in the bay. The live and neuatral wires had fused together, they were burnt out, a big short! I'm so happy I had the surge protector plugged in otherwise I don't know what the damage would have been plus we are lucky a fire didn't break out! Apart from knowing the importance of having a surge protector the lesson I've come away with is not to simply reset a tripped breaker, as I was doing. Breakers are there to do a job and i'm thankful it did just that. In conclusion I want to thank you again for all your wonderful videos, they are so helpful.

My high school sweetheart & I own a 2022 inTech Terra Oasis travel trailer. We traveled from WI - CA last October & returned after 7 weeks, in December. Since then, it has been in climate controlled storage for 3 months, until we pulled it out, in April. The 1st thing I did was test the smoke, CO2 & propane monitors & alarms, A-OK. The 2nd thing I did was program my in house battery monitor. We have been relying on the Victron Connect app 2 monitor r solar system, 4 lithium batteries, 720 total amp hours, 4 - 200 watt solar panels & an extra 200 watt suitcase for 1040 total charging watts. When boondocking, we can even run r air conditioner & microwave, expeditiously. 3rd, I cleaned all 4 roof vent screens & installed 2 camco vent covers on r bathroom & shower vents. Of course, they were Martinized, first. Waiting on the rain 2 do the bedroom & kitchen Max fans Martinization; they both have vent covers. Tons of PM left 2 do but at least, I got started. Thx 2 the 52 week maintenance challenge. Chris, my wife, Joanieized the inside, with all here cleaning up after me. Thx guys 4 ur help & motivation.

Thx for taking the time to add what you've been doing. I know it will help others. Questions: 1) You said you can run your AC unit on your amp hr set up boon docking. Do you have 1 or 2 AC's? 2) What size AC unit are they? 3) Have you installed a softstart?
@briancasteleyn
@briancasteleyn 2 жыл бұрын
U know of course, making room 4 Joanieizing will pay rich dividends. 1 air conditioner, 15K BTU ducted, with soft start, used judiciously will take the edge off heat. CANNOT run water heater (use propane) or convection oven but everything else we can run, as long as we have ok sunlight. We use the small 75 watt, 12volt inverters/converters 2 run the tv's, small appliances & charging devices 2 avoid running the big inverter. My Chris calls it her 1 bedroom luxury New York apartment.
@RVstreet

OK that makes sense. 1 AC w/soft start, water heater on propane and NOT running the BIG inverter. I can see how that works for you. But if little or no sun you really have to watch your power usage. My inTech guru, Duane Hanson, Boondock Duane's RV Show, on KZbin, who installed r solar system, has about the same solar system, on his Terra. He's since installed a 12volt-30amp DC-DC charger 2 turn his truck into his generator, eliminating the need 2 lug around a generator. It's on my 2 do list.

Lesson 3: Learned how to un-winterize and winterize in the same trip! Just got back from Myrtle Beach last week and we took our RV from the cold/freezing climate of Canada to the warm of South Carolina so we had to travel with our rig winterized, arrived and followed your video Martin to sanitize our lines, took no time at all (except to let the bleach sit in the lines and tanks) rinsed it out and used the rig for 10 days. Then I followed another video to winterize for our ride home. Super easy to do and I have tons of confidence on doing this again in a month to get it ready for the upcoming camping season. Hi Martin my husband and I have been watching your videos for about a year now and have learned so very much. As a retired millwright we have all the tools and if it was up to him every cabinet would be filled with tools lol not happening ha ha ha ha. And while the snow was too high and the temperature is too low for us to do anything on the vehicle at this time. We are doing research and preparing for warmer weather in order to replace our curling floor, due to it being so old. And trying to consider what form of solar energy we might be able to put together this year. I appreciate all of your encouragement stay safe

Well tell your husband I totally understand his state of mind on tools being a millwright too. You should of seen my garage before we went FT. But I carefully narrowed it down to a realistic workable set of tools. I fortunately have quite a bit of CCC. Boy....taking on a new floor isn't a small job but I'm sure he knows exactly how to do it and it will be sweet when completed. As far as solar and what you'll need, your looking at that because you want to bring in additional power to the RV. Wait till you see my final piece to my multiple power solutions video this Saturday morning for when the grid goes down for any reason, emergency power or boon docking. I've been working on this multi-option plan for a year. I love problem solving. Thanks so much Carol for you and your husband being fans of our channel and glad that I've helped you some. Martin: The one caution I would add is that you should never get under, or even reach into the wheel wells, of any vehicle (MH) with air springs. The body absolutely has to be supported with stands or blocking of some kind. An air spring failure in an unsupported vehicle is a crush injury waiting to happen. This is gospel among the converted bus/motorcoach community.

Anyone know of a good video to show how to use a multi meter? Hey I learned a lot about my RV when I ran a line for the rear camera along the frame underneath. Now I know where my fuel lines are and where all the tanks are at. Just having a good look under the RV helps you understand your RV a lot. Once we have some sunny weather I’m going to get up on the roof and replace the rear vent over the bedroom. Thanks to your videos I will also clean all the vent covers as well. :)

R spring here, in western WI, has been cold, windy, rainy, with some snow. So, hard 2 Martinize anything, in these conditions. However, I managed 2 get a few things done. First, I set up 6 temperature sensors with a gateway, so we can monitor r freezer, fridge, both battery compartments, pass thru storage & outside temperatures, with r smart phone. Second, I replaced a broken weight distribution hitch, saddle pin, a casualty of r move 2 climate controlled storage, in 0° temps, in January. Third, I climbed underneath r trailer, removed the spare tire, washed & waxed the rim, treated the sidewalls with Martin's 303 Aerospace Protectant, cleaned it's home underneath the trailer & reinstalled it, with anti sieze on the bolts. Now, I know what equipment I'll need 2 repair a flat tire, 3-18" 6"x6"s, 2 ton floor jack, jack stands, 6" 2"x4" (2 prevent injuring my shoulder, getting the spare down) 6 ton bottle neck jack, chalks & impact driver, with socket. I replaced the 13/16 nuts with 3/4 nuts 2 match the lug nuts. Fourth, I replaced the rusting bolts & cotter pins that secure the propane cover panel with a couple of nice looking, rustproof hood push buttons, looks much cleaner & easier 2 use. Lastly, I replaced the propane lines from tanks - regulator with braided steel lines & installed a gas stop valve & gauge 4 100% stoppage of major leaks. I don't understand why 80% shut off is standard, seems unsafe? Still have a lot 2 do b4 r first outing, in 10 days.

Update: House sold two weeks ago. We then purchased our Montana 5th wheel. Life is good. First maintenance was to install our water filtration and softener that we purchased thru your Amazon store. They were out of the brass quick disconnect fittings. Purchased some from Home Depot. Little cheap but no leaks. Last weekend I sanitized the fresh water tank. Pretty simple procedure. My intentions for this coming weekend is to clean the roof and apply dressing on the rubber/foam seals.

Lesson 1: Okay Martin learned something new today and it has to do with my fuse panels. Found all of them (and yes I know that sounds simple, but wasn't) and learned I needed to purchase micro blade fuses (not the mini's or the standard's or the mini low profile that I already bought). Glad I learned that before I was in a situation where I needed them and didn't have them.
@RVstreet
@RVstreet 2 жыл бұрын
Doesn't sound simple to me at all, b/c I've met many people that didn't know where theirs were either. Sometimes they can be in places you never would think to look. That's why I included that in my "what if" list. So good job on that and getting the right extra fuses to. Also for others reading this comment, if you have a motorhome, look for your fuse box-in the engine bay-and open it up. You'll see some square, plug in type relays too. Always carry a couple of spare relays with your fuses that you carry.

Lesson 7: Well I've always disliked the stereo/entertainment/navigation system in our coach so today I learned to install a new one. Very straight forward and not that difficult and I was able to convince my wife to let me buy some new tools (wiring stripper, soldering iron). Took me a few hours to get the job done. Now something else I learned today about my coach. In the fall/winter when I drive our coach I always complained that my feet were cold, meanwhile my wife was bugging me to turn the heat down (yes I know that is reversed normally :D ) cause her's were burning. Today I found out why... The vent hose was tucked into a space that was blowing all that warm air behind the dash! Well now my next job is to either get a vent to connect that hose to, or run that hose so it peaks out by my feet. The work is never done :)

Lesson 4: Learned how to do an oil change on our 2021 Jayco Alante. They certainly don't make it easy to find the oil fill space. In fact I had two options, first was to remove a panel in the dash (it's just held in by velcro) then another plastic access panel underneath that so I can run a funnel into the oil fill spot in the engine and then pour the oil into the funnel inside my RV over my dash. Option 2 was to buy a small hand pump and pump the oil into the oil fill spot from the outside. I decided option 2 was the cleanest option. If I dropped any oil on my dash inside the RV I'm sure my wife wouldn't be pleased with me. I will be ordering a fumoto drain valve as you suggested Martin. I've always knew how to change my oil of course but never did one on a class A. Thanks for your video Martin on where to find everything.

This video is a follow up of my last video: “2022 RV Predictions • I Hope You’re Paying Attention” kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWTYc4ecgZdkesU *If you go online to learn new things I have a few guidelines to consider and some tips, because I care about my audience and I want to try to steer you in the right direction* NEVER…post your phone number or email address online on any of the sources discussed below. *KZbin* Watching KZbin videos is particularly useful IMO because you can “SEE” what people do and how they do it other than reading a a couple of sentences or being offered short little suggestions in a forum. Sometimes watching what people do will show you what NOT to do. What a lot of people miss out on is once the video is over, they don’t go down to the comments section or read the description text for additional information. Reading these two areas-and especially the comments section, is where a lot of other details, questions and answers can be found. There’s ALWAYS a wealth of information in these two areas that are missed by many viewers. So I highly recommend you watch my videos to the very end even though you think you’ve got what you needed from it, go directly to the description text area and to the comments, then begin to scroll through and read what people have to say, questions they ask etc. If your new to KZbin and are not sure how to find the description text area or the comments section, watch this short video that I did. It will make your KZbin experience a whole lot better. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKHVcqZ-hJxgfJo *Online RV forums* If you go to online RV forums be CAREFUL. Remember who goes there. They’re RVer’s of all types. Some only use their RV once in awhile, some are full timers, some are snowbirds and everyone in between. Some live way up north and some down south which impacts some of things they do to their RV. Also the way they’ll care for there RV will vary a lot. Some know what they’re doing and can offer sound advice-on some topics-other topics not so much. Many topics that are posted on forums are from people looking for a cheap way to fix their problem and they can do some pretty stupid stuff. Some want the best way to “fix” their problem and cost is not a problem. *You have to pick through the bones to get a little meat* I’ve seen some pretty horrendous ideas and advice over the years on forums but some good solutions and advice too. Also, don’t be tricked by looking at how many posts someone has on a forum and then draw the conclusion “Oh they must really know what their doing”. Some do, some don’t. Over the years I’ve seen some folks that reply to assorted questions can be very condescending, high minded, argumentative, rude and they always have to have the last word. I personally don’t post much anymore on RV forums because of this. But there are others that are kind, patient and willing to help answer questions, give advice and offer their experiences. With that being said, forums can still be a good source to learn, read and gather information that perhaps MAY help you. But they aren’t the only sources of information and you need to use discernment when reading solutions forums offer. *Online Blogs, Traveling Apps and other Online information sites* There are many, many of these online knowledge bases too. Some are readily available and some you have to really hunt for. Comments and reviews always have to be taken with a grain of salt like anywhere else. Everybody has an opinion and not all opinions or solutions may work for your RV lifestyle. So again, use common sense and discernment. *Facebook (FB)* RVstreet has a FB page. You can find it by clicking the FB logo on the very right side of my KZbin home page. kzbin.info If you ever have a question or would like my opinion or advice of something you’ve read somewhere else, or you just need my help for something your dealing with, don’t hesitate to post it on my FB page. I usually check it once a day unless I’m traveling. I don’t know everything by any means, but I’ll always try to help you if I can. *Final Note* They’re are literally 100’s if not 1,000’s of resources out there to learn about your RV. I’m purposely not listing or recommending any of these resources here because I don’t what to be seen as endorsing any of them. So search on your own and you’ll find what works for you. So until next time…..this is your friend and fellow RVer Martin….stick around 🔧

Hi Martin and Joanie. I changed my oil again for the second time and the Fomoto valve worked fantastic! Placing the plastic bags around the oil filter really didn’t work for me so I ordered an oil utter which, in theory, should have worked great but the hose fell off and I had oil all over the place. So I will be placing a clamp around the hose and that should take care of it. I am all over PM! Once again, thanks for the videos!

NICE Karen. Ya some people have trouble with the plastic bag trick. Get you a small, shallow tray that will fit under the oil filter to catch remaining oil when you pull the filter. Then just keep that with the rest of your oil changing gear. Always put a piece of cardboard under the chassis to catch any dripping oil. Whatever works best for you. But ya that Funoto valve, tube and jug is the absolute best way to change the engine oil. 👏

Someone was driving down a road the the awning came off and some parts were lost. The customer came in and told here the year and model and wanted parts. That did not help her at all to determine exactly what they needed. These must change depending on what was on hand. Recommendation was to take pictures of all names and especially any serial numbers of items that may come off during a drive. So, you know what I did....exactly what she said. I am all in for the 52 week challenge. I watched many of your video's in preparation for our new 2022 Winnebago Navion Class C VS30 Chassis delivered last year. I am in good shape but want to take it too the next level. My first lesson is currently researching what suspension upgrades would help with general ride, sway etc. I am considering Hellwig Sway Bar (rear), Agile Fox 2.5 shocks (rear) commercial series for Sprinter Chassis, and Sumo Springs (front) - black (1000 lb) or blue (500 lb). I watched your suspension upgrades and will try to ascertain what is best for my Class C chassis. Keep you posted.

Week ending 4-1 Water in the 1/2 bath sink was beginning to drain slow, so I cleaned the "P" trap and top drain pipe.

Martin, Thank you! We ordered a new Leisure Travel Van which is scheduled to deliver 12 - 15 months out. We are anxious to get traveling so we purchased a used 2015 LTV in the meantime. We have been working on getting it ready for road trip. Took your challenge to heart and have been working on a maintenance project for each week. With your help we managed to 1.) tune-up Quickee steps and install step covers; 2.) sanitize fresh water tank and plumbing (Ugh...what a mess); 3.) flush hot water tank and replace anode rod (another big mess). Next week will get started on washing, removing water spots and detailing exterior. Don't need to hire this out only to get frustrated when it doesn't get done right. You and Joanie have been a BIG help keeping us motivated and confident knowing we can do this. Thanks so much! P.S we have shared your channel and Amazon store with RV friends. WE plan to STICK AROUND......

Just finished adding dual TItan fans in roof vent for absorption fridge. Now going to change the winter air to spring air in the tires of the MH. And then fresh filter and blinker fluid..........😎

I have a 2006 Coachman Aurora 3580DS. Bought 04-13-21 from original owner, had 8700 miles on the Ford V-10 Triton. It was in need of being Martinised on pm schedule. Owner let it set too long and was in need of several areas of Martinance " like that new Martin term? ". I brought it home to SW Florida & jumped in on Martinizing it. The list is big. Oil & filter change, air filter " did the pvc downward elbow on intake side " , generator oil-air-gas filter & pump- spark plugs change " only 480 hrs on it ", lp system check, gas stop safety shut off. Will continue the list over time. Thank you guys for the help. Steve Robinson

awning fabric, just did slide-outs toppers yesterday, hydraulic levelers return springs, front & rear stabilizer bushings, full loaded & unloaded chassis lube, rebuilt kwikee steps, changed hydraulic fluid in level reservoir, vinegar water heater bath " it was full of calcium ", cleaned all burners & orifices, outside weather proof gfic & box, TPMS 6 wheel system, 7 new 19.5" super duty rated tires " includes spare". More to come in future. Thanks for helping me out with a ton of these areas thru your videos. I have watched 👀 every one of them. From Apache Junction, Arizona, Steve Robinson

Week ending 2-5: So for my first weekly maintenance item I did this week, yesterday I got up on the roof and cleaned all three of my roof vents and vent covers. They were nasty. This is definitely something I do every year. After I cleaned them, I conditioned the rubber gaskets and lubed the cranking mechanisms. If you're interested, I did a video 2 years ago on how I do this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3y4Y5djjqaqZq8

Great job as always, Martin. Recently, on our new (2022 Thor Challenger), I was snooping in the house battery bay. I found one battery with an acid ruined tie down, low water levels, and at least half a dozen very loose electrical connections. I'm definitely finding more things that I can improve upon, and I'm making progress and learning at the same time!
