You have the auto release and auto gain engaged so it doesn't matter what you have it set to, those settings aren't whats being played back from the compressor.

If you don't want to use the reverb plugin on ten different channels you can just make a buss with one reverb and send it to the ten different channels and the reverb sounds cleaner and isn't as muddy as if you just do it on the channel itself, because mix it under the Original signal, that's the mix knob on some plugins but not every plugin has it. I would recommend to use Sfx only on busses.

Can you not hear the difference? The waves vocals are cleaner and the compression is more transparent whereas the stock vocals have way heavier compression.
