In this lesson you will learn just how easy it can be to Get Started with Jazz Improvisation on Bass.
Using a few very simple and easy to understand techniques, you'll be playing tuneful, melodic solos in no time at all. Improvising on Bass doesn't need to be complicated, so this lesson is really easy to follow.
Using a II-V-I chord progression and not just because it featured heavily in Jazz. It's a pivotal progression that's used in every style of music.
You will learn to how use chord notes, chord arpeggios, the major scale and the modes. The MODES... don't be daunted. You will learn a very easy approach to using them, that will make it easier than ever before for you to comprehend.
Melody, Rhythm & Phrasing are all featured in Part 1 of this 2 Lesson Series.
Perhaps the best thing about this lesson is that EVERYTHING YOU WILL LEARN CAN BE USED IN YOUR EVERYDAY BASS PLAYING TOO.

I wish lessons like this had been around when I started (hundreds of years ago). Easily digestible and explained in an articulate and easy to understand presentation. Keith is a tasty player and good teacher. There’s hundreds of bass channels out there but this one deserves a lot more widespread recognition.
