Love your work, wish i couldve seen the face come together though. I wondered for a while now how or if i could combine coloured pencil with my pastels, and if pastel could be an underlayer
@Leontinevanvliet3 жыл бұрын
That's definitely possible if you layer lightly with the pastels :D

It is absolutely amazing, did you paint the underlayer of the face with pastel pencils?
@Leontinevanvliet3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! No the face is 100% colored pencil, even the underlayers! :D
@stephw13633 жыл бұрын
Is it possible to do pastel underlayers with color pencil on top? Will it stick?

I never use fixative on any of my work actually!

Hey can you please elaborate the tough tiger level on patreon? I won't get access to any posts or tutorial?
@Leontinevanvliet3 жыл бұрын
The tough tiger is the $2 tier. It's just a way to support my lessons and my work. The tutorial tiers start at $4 (Which is also incredibly low)

HEy Leontine, You did'nt draw this before, on your paper?
@Leontinevanvliet3 жыл бұрын
I did put a sketch down before starting with color, if that is what you mean :D

This is a Beautiful piece, BUT from watching this short portion of the video, I do not understand the benefit of combining the pastels and colored pencils. Why not do the entire piece in pastels Or the entire piece in colored pencils? If there is a benefit in combining them, can you please explain what that benefit is. I am trying to understand the technique.

hai iam watching you from 6 months i improved a lot now bcause of you i can now draw realstic i want to get pateron but still i am 10 years old can i know where you find pictures of animals you draw
@stephw13633 жыл бұрын
Rapid Draws I think many artists use pixabay for getting images, but i dont know how much that costs, you could try your local library or ask your parents if they have any national geographic magazines, those images are always so well done.
