The details of the kitchen was worth withstanding her blackboard scratching voice. As a kitchen designer I love the way the frameless cabinets look inset with the trim.

Overall it looks nice. In Sweden we often use a color called old white/Stockholm white which has warmer tone and doesn't look very cold looking. A little more warmed toned decorations would also help.

What a beautiful kitchen! I love the island, countertops, the color on the walls which actually makes the kitchen appear larger than it actually is, and the placement of the pantries. It is also bright, airy, welcoming, a complete package of what a large kitchen should look like. I would sit all day and admire how beautiful this kitchen is. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💕💕💕😊😊!!

Would be a nice design and good video if not for being so confusing. She gives information, but definitely doesn't sound secure if it's correct or not. Explaining something to me with every sentence in question form isn't working.

@@nicoleeboo38 Its not a canadian accent. Its an affectation that is rampant in design and anywhere "educated(pretentious) people" gather. Vocal fry is the gravely part that sounds like a Kardashian. Uptalk is the part mid-sentence where she's upward inflecting words to sound like a question even tho there is no question. The only time you notice any "canadian" accent is when she says "i" words you can tell she's from Canada's east coast where people still have a little bit of a seaman/irish sounding accent.

Yeah, Canadian's speak in the interrogative, plain and simple. It's not pretentious. She's explaining her thought process throughout the video, insight into how and what she was thinking since it's a bit more challenging designing for your own space. Appreciated it was not cookie cutter scripted like some of these walk throughs, came off more natural.

Gosh open concept has been around FOREVER, I get it, people want to see each other, but ever since Covid and spending copious amount of time with people - GIVE ME A DAMN WALL 😅!! I appreciate separate spaces and not having kitchen smells in my living room. So done with this concept!! P.S. The house feels cold and could use some warming up, also the black and white designers use ALL THE TIME is getting Mundane!!
