Thank you for this amazing video! I've had the RetroTINK 5x for over 2 years and haven't ever felt like I knew how to properly calibrate profiles. I do now, thanks to you!

Thanks for your video, it helped me a lot to configure my RT5X. Hey, I have a question. I have a native 1440p monitor. Do you recommend using the 1440p mode? or the 1080 modes?

1440p is down to personal preference and compatibility. For general playing, I often used 1080p over more than anything else. If the 5X works in 1440p with your display then I'd say go for it though.

Yes, although I have some problems with 2560x1440 but with 1920x1440 it works great. But in 1080p the screen space is better used and everything looks a bit bigger because of the overscan and I love that too. So I don't know which resolution to choose :)

Best thing you can do is just not commit to any single resolution and play at a res that looks good to you that day. Sometimes I would play at 1080pOver, Under or 1440p. Sometimes scanlines, often not. I can never decide!

Ok man I'm going to follow your recommendation I have the same problem. Depending on the day I prefer one configuration over another :) Hey, one last question. I have my RT5X connected to a 5v 1.5a USB power brick, the one that comes with the SNES Classic Mini. Is 1.5a enough for 1440p?

@Mario.L127 based on the experiences I've seen from other people, 1440p would really be most stable with at least 5V 2A. The power draw with 1440p is significantly more and you're likely to run into crashes/drops/reboots.
