Hi Aaron, regarding your advice on "30 conversions in 30 days" - what about highly competitive industries like HVAC where CPCs can be over $100? Could you get away with 15-20 conversions per month? Or are smaller budget ($5k-7k) just always going to be in Manual CPC or Max Clicks mode, never able to move to tCPA?

So you start with "maximize clicks" and switch over to "maximize conversions" after receiving constant conversions over 30 days?

Nice content, Aaron! First question: I had a search campaign that ran on target CPA for about 30 days. In the beginning, it was converting well, but after the third week, it began to perform poorly, eroding all the profit that I had initially made, so I paused it. If I start that campaign again, will the optimization start from zero, or will Google continue to optimize based on the previous data? Another question: Is Google Ads optimization more closely tied to individual campaigns or to the account overall? Is it correct to say that a new campaign created within an account with a history of ads targeting the same demographic audience tends to perform better than a new campaign within a new account?

Recently I started new Google ads search campaigns for dermatology clinic. We received good amount of conversions for last seven days with Max clicks and with max cpc bid limit. we received about 6 to 10 conversions per day. So after 10 days the ads started performing poorly. So I switched the campaign to max conversion as we have good amount of data in the account. Do you think that is a good way to move to max conversions? Or I shoul've waited bit longer? We are still not getting enough leads as expected. Now can I switch the campaign back max clicks or can I just leave it like that and run... Help is really appreciated. Thanks.

Dont expect too much from new campaign within 10 days, switch it back to max clicks and collect data at least for 6 weeks and then switch to max conversions.
