I just used the wolfos echo, just run around the forest, distracting the lynel with wolfos, and since they are fast and evasive, they can get a few hits off before dying. Then spam, rinse and repeat lol, whole process takes a minute

Recently just did this before you encounter lynel just defeat one of the sword moblin lv2 in the eternal forest and spam him after he dies from lynel hits, lynel will you try to hunt you down so just let him follow you but don't get to close to him and spam sword moblin lv2 unlocking him took me spamming sword moblin lv2 like 5 times

I came up with this same strategy. He chased me all over the forest, but I kept re-spawning the level 2 Moblin to intercept him and eventually took him down.

Better strategy: 2 Boulders, and 1 snake / Armadillo. If you have 4, use Armadillo, if only 3 snake works fine. Save directly outside of Lynel for fast run back. Place two boulders in the center of the dirt arena the Lynel comes in next to each over. Hide on the opposite side of these boulders that the Lynel is on. Every time the Lynel attacks, peak the corner and place a Snake / Armadillo. Do NOT spawn another if it is not dead. Lynel will get stuck in a loop and never lock onto you if done correctly. Far safer, easier and more consistent than the Octorok method.

Cool. I lured lynel to the two side by side tall trees outside of where you find lynel and it will jump on the two trees and stay there awhile and while I just circled the trees I used keese wings the whole time and they did all the work. About 3 to 5 minutes of work with only 5 hearts.

i had great success with the weird spinning helicopter plant, i basically did the same thing but cept calling those in and that thing messed the lynel up quite fast, especial when he was jumping and culdn´t atack then it realy did a lot of damage

Ok, what worked for me was Crawtullas. Lure him up on the trees with like a Peahat or something, then use Crawtullas. Sometimes the Lynel can easily dispatch a Crawtulla, but often he has a hard time hitting it and the Crawtulla will keep getting licks in. It was quick and painless for me. Course I was still running around the upper platform like you do with Octoroks, putting distance between myself and the Lynel.

Just get one of the LV 2 Sword Moblin that’s roaming around the eternal forest also. Run around and spawn as soon as they go down. Took them like 5 hits and the Lynel was done. Easy work.

I went to the spot you showed in the video and used my spear moblin lvl2 and 2 rounds of octorocks got to sit there and watch him die without getting hit once moblin level 2 backs away and then throws a spear took him a few hits after I chiseled his health down a bit with the octoroks

Get the sword moblin level 2 and head to the lynel, use the moblin right before the lynel is on screen. The moblin should see the lynel before the lynel sees you. The lynel will not attack the moblin if it doesn't see you so stay just off screen enough that you see the moblin and maybe the lynels legs. The moboin will kill it in four hits. Just did it this way

I actually just beat him with the level 2 sword moblin. I always had 1 of them between me and the lynel and he would always get 1 hit in before dying. So I ran the same route as when summoning the lynel. Because of the narrow routes it was really easy :)

Put a peahat anywhere in the arena then move to another part of the arena while the lynel goes after it and as soon as the peahat dies spawn another one where you are and repeat

I'd been looking EVERYWHERE for the lynel. But yes once while talking to the pastor, while actually seeing where find my 4 remaining stamps, he mentioned that you look for footprints. Once I did that it finally worked & it call clicked. I didnt wanna go running in so I sent the lvl3 moblin I'd already summoned for protection...& I think it spotted me anyway, but then it was distracted by my moblin. It only lasted about a second tho. So I sent my lvl3 darknut, but the same thing happened. But as echoes have no recharge, I just kept sending it & right when I was thinking I should run away, I saw it was defeated. Also I had just hit level 8 earlier from closing the rift @ lovers' lake

I Just captured the bomb guy (Zirro) in Eldin Volcano and summon one for each hit. But the Lynel will chase the zelda. Because that is important take distance and maybe use statues too. Remember to be able to summon Lynel it'll costs 6 tri powers.

I beat him using Wolfos. I climbed up the trees to that plateau with the bushes, spawned a Wolfos, then picked it up and threw it into the clearing where the Lynel was; whenever the Lynel defeats the Wolfos, rinse and repeat.

Okay so something really funny i discovered when trying to defeat the Lynel is if you use Platboom, the lynel will try and attack it even when it's out of it's attacking range, so if you keep your distance and spam arrows in swordfighter mode while the platboom distracts it, it's surprisingly easy to cheese the fight that way

A slightly easier way of this method is to put the octorocks on the upper platform Then, 1 thing you missed that I found by complete accident was that you dont need a platform to reach the upper area, you just need to jump from the crown of the trees cause its at just right elevation for Zelda to just reach the top So now, another aspect of the Lynel that I found thanks to this, is that until it losses sight of its target for a few seconds, itll keep going after it and wont attack anything else, in fact, itll ignore other things that are damaging him and just act as if they are obstacles and jump over them, he also will not attack unless he is at a certain distance in the same elevations, this is the tricky part but Ill explain a bit later So essentially you just need to jump on top of the middle platform and be mostly on the middle until the Lynel prepares to jump into the platform, drop the Octorocks and jump on the other end of platform as the Lynel follows you, but dont move inmediatly, the Lynel will try to cut you up so wait to see which side he is jumping on and run in the oposite direction in quarter circles, as the Lynel starts following you jump up the platform again, runse and repeat The difficulty is that somtimes the Lynel jumps way further than intended and gets enough room to use its rush attack, and since the crown of the trees are seen by the game as being on the same elevation, he will do it, this is the only way it can hit you, but hence why I said to remain in the middle of the platform since the attack wont reach there, he will most likely kill a few Octorocks tough, so just remake them, also try to put them in odd possitions so they intefeer with its pathing and force him to do extra jumps to reach you, all the while ignoring the Octorocks pelting him with constant attacks It takes a few moments to get into rythm, but once you do it becomes extreamly easy and almost risk free

I used hours and hours in BOTW to beating Lynell. And finally mastered parry and after that it was piece of cake, but still when I see Lynell I got chills. In this time it was ridiculously easy, I just used that spinning plant and runned away couple minutes. To be honest I'm little bit disappointed how easy it was

Spawn a lvl1 darknut and when the Lynel starts to attack the darknut take out the sword and hit the lynel from the behind you do need a fairy
