For me, that includes shampoo, detangler, conditioner, heat protectant and the best dryer you can afford. I swear by Dyson blow drying equipment. It works! I have a pixie and I use box color because it grows so fast ( gasp 😂) . I do have my hair cut every four weeks with a root touch up at the two week mark . I find a hair oil ( garnier ) / bio silk used on wet hair helps with my thick coarse hair plus I get it thinned out when needed . I use crew pomade which is marketed for men but works great on a pixie . I have the same dyson hair dryer but l mostly let it air dry since I have 40 minute commute and on some mornings a 430 am wake up time ( I work in healthcare of course 😊)

❤ your pixie cut Beth. Your always a classic and I appreciate that. I think hair care is an essential at any age but mature hair needs special attention. The Dyson is expensive and I found a dupe at Aldi's last month and it is a winner for my thin, fine hair. Thanks for posting great informative content.

Hey, we have the same hair style! After decades of coloring my brunette hair, I finally let it grow out at age 63 and love my new grey hair. I use a purple shampoo and only shampoo twice a week but my hair actually seems to be going dark brown again naturally. Maybe I'm just getting used to the color but I would like it to be even more grey.

Purelogy Hydrate is good, Kerastase Nutritive Hydrate is also good for dry hair.
