I love your work you do a hell of a good job I love how you put detail in your work a lot of people do not understand about putting detail into the work because if you put bad detail in your work that means you’re going to get callbacks and people are not going to recommend you I love how you put detail in your work and I even love how you even do the emergency release rope and handled correctly mostly some of your videos it wasn’t done right but either from that still a really good job

I have a set of chamberlain sensors, and a couple pairs of genie sensors, one is the older one that has the plugs for wiring. I like it better then screw terminals, but still i like chamberlain and that they have their wires pre attatched.

This is a great video, you do a great job. I live in Ohio, I have a 1995 Overhead Door Brand , model 556, with plastic square safety sensors. Will the Chamberlain sensors work for my situation?? Thanks.
@sosgds2 жыл бұрын
Hello! Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately the Overhead brand and Chamberlain/LiftMaster are not compatible. Thus you would need to utilize Overhead or Genie brand sensors.

Hello Mayra. No unfortunately Genie and Chamberlain were not designed to be compatible. You will need want to purchase Chamberlain sensors for a Chamberlain garage door motor. Hope this helps.

Are there a Photo safety eyes for issues with the sun with a south facing door?
@sosgds3 жыл бұрын
Good question. In some cases yes the sun will have an effect on them. It's best to place the sensors in a shadowy part of the garage, that is within the side of the garage.

@@sosgds I have also put water on the garage floor and it seems to help. The door will shut. Guess the concrete is causing a reflection as well. Thanks

@@sosgds So, if I have the old first generation style , can I splice in a newer generation style sensor? It seems like the new style are much cheaper
@sosgds3 жыл бұрын
@@brianestep3356 Hello! Yes you can easily splice the new sensors to the existing wire. It will work with older Chamberlain, LiftMaster, and Craftsman motors.
