I picked up a set of these when we lived in WA. They really made a difference in the early spring and late fall to block wind from my hands. At 39 degrees, a 50-60% reduction is a BIG deal! Now that we are in FL, I like that air on my hands. Still, a solid product!

I just went for a ride in the rain and they made a difference for sure. I swapped out the ones in the video for the same brand, however, without the cutout. Not sure if I will keep them on when the temperature raises. We shall see. I am always looking at Floridian and maybe one day… :)

I have these exact guards on my Road King. I love them. The site I bought them from had a guy list them as “thin, cheap and weak metal”…. I couldn’t write enough laughing emojis on that review.

Agree, these are not thin and cheap. Just went on a 7 hour ride and caught some rain and these hand guards worked great!

Was thinking the same, however, the functionality still works where it covers your hand but it is the look that was my concern. So far they work great and I will provide an update in the near future as get more miles with them.

They are more for the shorter etc the cut outs are for the indicators

Handguards are a great addition. I use Memphis Shades ghost colored on my RK Standard. They come in black, too, with no cutout.

Yep, those are nice, notice a big difference with keeping your hands warmer? Found out last night that I was sent the wrong ones which have the cutout. New ones coming in with no cutouts and looking forward to replacing the ones I shared in the video. Nice thing is, kemimoto extended their discount to all the hand guards they have due to this. From what I understand you can, but I did not do that. This was just removing the bolt that holds down the mirror to slide in the hand guards. Sorry, this answer may not help you. Take care and stay safe!

Hi, is it possible to install a set of fog or driving lights to your handlebar where the cut outs are on your hand guard to allow more wind blockage? Just a suggestion.

Yep, I am sure it can be done. That said, found the wrong hand guards were sent to me and I have replaced them with the correct ones. Looks better :)
