Thanks for making this video due to I feel your pain because lm also big and tall guy myself I agree with you they should definitely make motorcycle gear for big and tell people men and women due to people who ride motorcycle is all big and tall and bodybuilders too. I hope that you find more website that offer biggest sizes for men's and women's hopefully you can make a video on that. In the future due to it's not a lot of videos out there to help being tall people to find brands that offer their sizes Honestly I feel like it slap in the face for big and tell people who spend all their hard earned money on motorcycle courses and on top of that motorcycle and license and temporary license. And motorcycle insurance Like come on motorcycle brands gear brands do better make all gear for different variety of sizes for summer gear and winter gear and affordable too I also feel like it discrimination towards big and tall people in general cage free moto if you ask me 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💯💯💯

I’ve been using the same set from this install video and never had any issues with them. The cool thing is, last year the vendor reached out asking if I could do a review, and I told them I already had! They were still kind enough to send me a full set, which we raffled off to raise money for Veterans. I really appreciated their donation, and if my lights ever go out, I’ll definitely buy from this brand again.

The Road King is an amazing deal, especially with only 7k miles on it! I originally wanted a Deluxe because, as you know, they’re beautiful bikes. But since they were discontinued, I went with the Road King. With all the extras-like the bags, passenger floorboards, cruise control, and the touring frame-plus that classic look, I’m really happy with my choice. Congrats on your Road King! Take care and ride safe!

I had a 2000 v92sc, which was an awesome motorcycle, and then years later, I had a 2016 Victory Magnum 106. X1. Also, a great motorcycle, honestly, the scarcity of parts had me worried, and also my local dealer closed shop, so I moved on to the next Polaris venture Indian.
@CageFreeMoto21 күн бұрын
The scarcity of parts is a valid concern, and while I think Victory motorcycles are fantastic, I prefer to spend my spare time riding rather than searching for parts. Hunting for parts for any motorcycle can be challenging, but Harley-Davidson has excellent aftermarket support. I've also heard that some Indian motorcycle parts may be compatible with Victory models, which could be an option for keeping your Victory on the road. However, it's always best to verify part compatibility through trusted sources or mechanics.

Is there a power outlet anywhere on this bike?
@CageFreeMoto21 күн бұрын
Other than the trickle charger, which I use to plug in my Garmin GPS, there isn’t a built-in power source. You can buy USB power plugs from the Harley-Davidson site or Amazon, though I haven’t installed any since my GPS uses the trickle charger. I feel Harley-Davidson should have included a USB port, like on the Softails. It seems like a missed opportunity to save a few bucks, which is disappointing.

“Investment”?🤣
@CageFreeMoto21 күн бұрын
I understand that using the word 'investment' for motorcycles can sound odd, but it's important to note that not all bikes depreciate at the same rate. Harley-Davidson motorcycles tend to hold their value better than many other brands, including Japanese bikes. For example, studies show that Harley-Davidson bikes retain around 84% of their value after three years, compared to Japanese brands like Honda or Yamaha, which may retain closer to 70-75% of their value over the same period. Of course, any motorcycle is going to lose value over time, but Harley-Davidson has a strong resale market due to brand loyalty, a rich heritage, and aftermarket support. So while it's not an 'investment' in the traditional sense, Harleys tend to depreciate less quickly than many competitors, which can make them a smarter choice for riders who consider long-term ownership costs.

I dont understand how anyone can even tell the difference between the various harleys. They all look the same to me. Kinda like the pirate uniform many harley riders are fond of. Looking like an antique while claiming to be modern just doesn't work for me. Either produce a modern properly priced bike, or I won't buy.
@CageFreeMoto21 күн бұрын
Have you seen the 2024 RG & SG. Everything for exception of the frame has changed in response to not being modern and I think that is why vivid black is not the base color anymore so more colors are out there then just black and chrome or black on black. And yes, I have Black on chrome and it is what I always wanted. :)

I was sorry to see the Road King standard disappear. Here in 2024 the only model available is the Road King Special, blacked out, no windshield, extended bags and a price tag of $25,000. Or more. I chose to find and buy a 2023 Road King Police with 11 miles. I added a chopped removable tour pack, touring seat and Rockford Fosgate speakers with amp already installed on bike before I bought it. I just had my 1000 mi inspection and I’m lovin’ this bike ,it is my third Road King I like the overall feel and the open view you get on this bike. Not a fan of bikes with fairings and lowers, if I want to be enclosed behind parts I might as well drive a convertible and then I can put the top up and not get wet. The true riders Classic the Road King.

Love it! I wish I had picked up a police model when I was shopping, but I’m still really happy with my 2021 Road King. I don’t ever want to part with it. If I get a Harley with a fairing one day, my goal is to keep my Road King standard.

The only thing stopping me from buying a Harley…. is “Harley People”. It’s akin to “I know being a vegan cross-fitter can be a very healthy lifestyle, but I don’t want to be associated with people like you. Give me a burger and a beer, please.”
@CageFreeMotoАй бұрын
I totally get where you’re coming from! The Harley community is actually really diverse, with riders from all walks of life. It’s not about fitting a mold, but about enjoying the ride and the freedom that comes with it. Whether you're into burgers and beer or something else entirely, there’s a place for everyone. Ride what you love and find your own tribe!

I purchased the Vulcan 900 used with 4,000 miles on it. I never adjusted the handlebars during my ownership because they were already in a comfortable position for me. I'm not sure if they were adjusted by the previous owner, but since they felt right for me, I never considered moving or questioning their position.

Absolutely, two saddle bags are often not enough for a road trip. I purchased a large Saddlemen bag (have a video on it), which I strapped to the back of my bike, and it served me well for a cross-country trip. Now, with a tour pack, I have plenty of space for all my gear.

Hey there! Yeah, I'm working on my weight, too. My wife says I should move faster when she calls me, but at least she likes my looks, LOL. As for the Harley Davidson, the weight just disappears when you're riding. It's well-balanced at slow speeds, and I absolutely LOVE the classic look. But hey, Harleys aren't for everyone. Luckily, there's a ton of different motorcycles to choose from. As long as you're happy and enjoying the ride, that's what counts. Take care and stay safe!

I buy honda goldwings and have two bikes and honda corporations is very much still in business in 2024, but a 1994 goldwing they don't make parts for anymore but everywhere you look I see 1990 goldwings rolling most dealers only change oil and tires , so if victory is reliable as a honda goldwing it want go to the shop often anyways 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️, when a Harley guy said they have dealerships all over the in country , I say who in hell wants to be broken down while traveling buy something you know is reliable 🤔🤔, I would try one if I had room in garage I wouldn't travel with it that is what goldwing and trailer is for.
@CageFreeMoto2 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing your insights and experiences with Honda Goldwings! It's fantastic to hear about the reliability and joy you've had with your bikes. Victory motorcycles are known for their durability, much like Goldwings, and with proper maintenance, they can provide a dependable ride for many years. Regarding Harley Davidson, it's true that they have an extensive dealership network, which can be reassuring for some riders. This is particularly beneficial for those who travel frequently, as having access to service and support across the country can be a significant advantage. Harley Davidson faced challenges in the 1980s when it was owned by AMF, leading to concerns about reliability. Many people still hold onto that perception today. However, I can share from personal experience that my Harley Davidson Road King has been incredibly reliable. I've ridden it across the country and back, now clocking in at about 30,000 miles, and with regular maintenance, I haven't had any issues. Ultimately, choosing a motorcycle is about finding what suits your needs and preferences best. Victory motorcycles, like Honda Goldwings, are a solid choice for reliability, and Harley Davidson has come a long way in ensuring their bikes are dependable too. Personally, I love all motorcycles and who knows what other brand I might own in the future-maybe a Honda Goldwing, Indian, BMW, or another Harley Davidson. The most important thing is to enjoy being on two wheels and to stay happy and safe as a Cage Free Moto.

I owned an 016 road king. I traded it for a 23 Heritage. Boy what difference. At 932 lbs, I had a problem holding up the Roadking. The Heritage comes in at a little over 700 lbs, and I can balance it with just my legs.

Coming from a Harley sportster, that I still own. I test drove a lotta different Harley models when the demo truck would come to town. I always saw myself coming back to the road king. So it was no surprise to me, when one of my buddies bought a brand new 2019 road king special from the local dealer. Told me he was tired of it and wanted something different, he took excellent care of it and had a real good price on it. So now it sits in my garage. Well it doesn’t exactly just sit there. I think when I got the bike it had 4500 miles on it and now it has 30,068 miles on it. I still have my sportster and I do ride it. Just not as much as a road king.

@CageFreeMoto2 ай бұрын
I am approximately 3 inches taller than you and have a heavier build, and I've found that my bike performs excellently when riding solo. Currently, I ride a Harley Davidson with a 107 cubic inch (1753.42 cc) engine. Recently, my wife began joining me on rides, and I've noticed a desire for more power, likely because I'm accustomed to the feel of solo riding. For local trips around town or leisurely cruising, the Vulcan 900 should suffice when riding with your wife. However, based on my experience, if I had known that my wife would be riding with me regularly, I would have opted for a model with more power from the start. I originally purchased my Vulcan as a re-entry motorcycle, thinking it would be my permanent choice, and it is indeed a great bike. However, for two-up riding on the freeway, you might find yourself needing more acceleration and power for those conditions.
