Although they're not talking about Emily and Stephen, it's true what they're saying. There's this undeniable chemistry between those two. The rest of the cast, the directors and the writers, they've all said it. And there's a reason why people love Felicity and Oliver together. It's just right. It's like it clicks into place when they're together. she's really the only person that truely gets him. In one of the episodes, Oliver said "It's slim pickings for us vigilante's.' That's just because the only girl that's right for him is his blonde IT girl :)

I’m contemplating if I’d comment or not since this video is really old and the show (Arrow) is already over BUT.... what the heck... coz for me OLICITY IS TIMELESS!!! For me OLICITY will stand the test of time. I mean in ALL the movies and tv series that I’ve seen - be it western or asian - these two actors here TOPS it for me when it comes to CHEMISTRY! I’ve never seen any pair that has this MUCH chemistry that it LITERALLY SEEPS OUT OF THEIR BODIES!!! NOT just the eyes, the looks. Nor the sweet tone of voices, BUT the body language! I have yet to see another pair like them....or a pair that surpasses them. I’ve been in love with olicity since day 1 when there was still not much interaction between their characters. But i can already tell (and i bet all the shippers also did) that there’s something there. Something unexplainable. And I remember getting excited and hoping that the directors or whoever notice it and make something out of it. And they did (oohh swoon)! And the rest is history.

To think about it that I almost missed them! As it happens I don't watch TV, heard about Arrow but never really bothered about to watch it. Actually I was looking for a different movie when by accident I came across their scene where Oliver says sorry to Felicity for smtg. Even though, I didn't know anything about this show or its characters, I was totally hooked up by their interactions and chemistry. So decided to watch the series. I know it's their job to act, but I've very rarely seen actors to deliver so much intensity and somehow natural harmony in each others company. I've definietly wouldn't have watched this show if there wasn't Olicity in the story.

Even though I thought they worked well together, and there was obvious flirting at times, I had not really got the connection in the looks until the more obvious moment when Felicity's life was threatened and the Arrow just dropped all pretence and said something about with her there was no choice. Made me see all the past moments in a new way. Their gaze at each other is intense. Great video that works well with the commentary and music.

Love this! I agree with the comments below. I *do* think we'll have to wait a while to see this happen, but hey, if there's payoff, I don't mind waiting. :) I think Oliver's the one who's got the conundrum. His dad was a philanderer, and frankly, Oliver *never* had fidelity modeled for him. Not surprisingly, Oliver himself was a womanizer, and I'm betting most of the women he was with were willing to put up with that aspect of his personality because, hey, a lot of women would put up with a lot for a shot at being a billionaire's wife. Heck, just ask yourself why Moira stayed with Robert for all those years when he was fooling around. Hint: I don't think it was because she found him irresistible. Actually, my guess? I got the impression from 2X13 that Laurel loved Oliver, but more than that, she loved the idea of being Mrs. Oliver Queen and all that entailed. She reminded me a bit of some of my sorority sisters who placed the quality of the catch's assets over the catch himself. If he hadn't been wrecked and he and Laurel *had* stayed together, it would have been because Laurel was worldly enough to excuse the straying. I actually wondered if Oliver's sleeping with Sara was a subconscious way to find the one thing Laurel *might* not forgive. And then, of course, he ended up on the island, full of guilt, and turned his relationship with her into a reason to survive. In the end, I think he'll realize (if he hasn't already) that the relationship he idealized really wasn't what was there. But Felicity's not worldly enough to accept or to excuse the philandering, and she doesn't care that he's a billionaire. She was also the first to see him as a hero. I'm reminded of a Lois McMaster Bujold quote which seems so, so appropriate, "You're the only person who looks at him and sees a hero. You create him better than he ever dreamed of being." And I think that's very true for Felicity and Oliver. Left to his own devices, he'd've been a villain or would have quit entirely. Oliver's not dumb, but he doesn't do a lot of analysis. She (and to a lesser extent Digg) make him see things from a different perspective. Sex doesn't mean anything (or very little) to Oliver, but he's not dumb enough to think it would be the same for Felicity. Ironically, Felicity's the one who thinks Oliver deserves better -- but I think question Oliver's probably wrestling with is, can he really be better enough himself to be the person *she* deserves? I also think he's completely torn about Barry. Barry, demonstrably, is a great guy, and he'd never hurt Felicity -- but Oliver needs her, too. On the surface, his 'partners' comment sounded a bit like friend zoning, and then I realized that for the first year, countless people yelled at him to let them in. He never did. Acknowledging that he actually needs Felicity and Digg, that they're partners -- hell, just acknowledging that he *needs* her -- is huge in Oliverspeak. However, since Felicity *doesn't* know how many times people yelled at him to 'let them in', and since I'm sure Felicity's been friend-zoned before, I doubt she heard exactly what he was saying. Sara, on the other hand, knows exactly what he is and accepts that aspect of him. She doesn't bring out the best in him -- but emotionally, it's easy and he won't hurt her, nor does he have to change. I completely hated that last scene of 2x13, but I have to say, after thinking the characters through, I understood why.

I think what make both of FS & OQ/their chemistry a stellar is because (Even Though) each one of them are masters of their own craft in Arrow, but what makes it weighty is Felicity's huge respect and deep admiration for Oliver Queen & her complete trust with GA in S1,2 & 3 above all kinds of spurts of attitude between them. What makes it more beautiful is Oliver's gradual realization of her importance and his reciprocity to her as his feelings for her gradually develop.
