Her beauty may afford some advantage, but she's still got to put in 80 hour weeks studying, training, modeling, with sponsor and media obligations. @fishhuntadventureАй бұрын
One of the issues with female racers is that women approach competition differently in some aspects than males. That isn’t in any way the least bit sexist - but at some point a young woman or probably several young women simultaneously at this point are going to come into NASCAR racing with a slightly different enculturation approach to competition. That’s the how and why Caitlin Clark turned the wnba upside down: work ethic, poise, talent, and drive. There’s very few other wnba players with the appropriate impatient competitive nature to be outstanding. Women in NASCAR on-track are often too polite, too patient, and take chances versus making position change (passing) opportunities. Well we’ll see how she progresses. Hailey should have figured out passing aggression and pressed the issue more often because she’s a better driver than most. Women are not lesser but often they approach things differently when competing against males, and in nascar that limits female success whereas in business or law women often ‘beat’ men readily. That’s my take- but if one studies the sudden explosion of Caitlin Clark there’s a lot of lessons to be had about aggression and intent in competition for both men and women. It’s not about fairness- it’s about winning.

@sergeantmasson36698 ай бұрын
@@DaveReece-u4b "Failie" Deegan's success, in the K&N West, was due to her intentionally wrecking other drivers for her own gain. The last straw was when she intentionally wrecked her own teammate, Derek Krause, to get the win for herself. That angered Toyota/TRD and they dropped her from their racing program soon afterwards. Daddy Deegan begged Ford Motorsports to give her a 2nd chance opportunity. She's botched that too. She's a dud in all motorsports racing, not just NASCAR. The stats/facts don't lie, but her SIMPS damn sure do, though.

Just an observation. After watching the Xfinity race this weekend the women drivers will never get a fair chance. Hallie Deegan was in 4th on the green white checker restart and no one would help her at all. In fact, they backed off her bumper and created a large gap that backed up that lane when they could have pushed her. I am not her friend or fan, but its what I noticed. Unfortunately, no female will ever get a real opportunity when it comes to winning races in the top 3 series. They will get crashed/no help before the other drivers will allow a female to get close to winning a race.
