Is her mother in the group in the same habitat? I would suggest that if she was , she would take her cue eventually from what the mother does or does not eat , & maybe after enough time things would adjust in her system based upon that diet. It sounds like irritable bowel or Gluten sensitivity ; possibly a reaction to a certain food / sugar level or how she is sleeping and able to rest in certain positions which she would not in the actual wild , which keeps her from burning off or using up certain food as fast or maybe which are not needed at all . Something possibly missing from the diet which is needed HERE.

Lily probably has been sick due to her long term captivity. That environment is not her’s and it’s a wonder, one hasn’t figured that out. Or you may have. That’s why you have to use the music to cover it up.

Yeah, I thought so too. Maybe the food just isn't good for her, just because most gorillas eat it doesn't mean it's better or equal to the food they gather for themselves in the wild.
