Absolutely love this! Elders are so valuable, so many hold rich nuggets of American history. And I agree that learning our history is CRUCIAL, not just to learn from our predecessors and their wrongs, but also just to feel more at home here, and strengthen a sense of belonging. When you know the stories of the place you live, you feel much more connected to the land, and thus, take better care of it and the people.

A blast from the past as this was one of the places I grew up. I was in the first class to graduate from the new Wilton HS. I lived right near Ira Levin, author of Rosemary's Baby and my friends were friendly with Linda Blair and the Brubecks. Very different from my other hometown of Westport, but also very scenic! Very historic but not your average American town.

Grew up here, lots of famous folks have lived here. Linda Blair, ace frehley, dave letterman, joe pantoliano and dave brubeck- and ira levin, the author or rosemarys baby and stepford wives. The latter of which was based on wilton.
