Get up and Go Program

The GUAG program helps youth who have persistent pain to participate fully in their lives. This includes learning how to effectively manage their pain over the course of their lives, helping them achieve their goals of improving day-to-day functioning, self-confidence, independence, and ability to cope and manage stress.

Just watched this again. My daughter is "Kenzie" in this video. Seeing the incredible staff and this amazing facility and recalling what they did for my daughter turns me to mush. I remember telling Lori on my exit interview that if I won the lottery at the time I'd try to duplicate this facility. I recall in joint sessions Dr. Kronenberg telling me how my response to the situation was wrong - LOL. I hope this program is still going strong and all of those that were involved with our family are healthy, happy and doing well. Going on five years past our time with the Program, you are not forgotten.

My son is just starting the process of seeing if he can go to the clinic. This video really helped us realize what it was all about. He is excited at the opportunity and hopefully not need his wheelchair anymore :) Thank you.
