If the Eagles, with one of the worst secondaries in the league last year, were able to draft the Top rated corner in the entire draft… while also not having to move up and sacrifice any additional picks, are given a B+… what the fuck were they have been able to do to receive an ad for their draft grade?? Clark justifies his grade by saying that there’s more work to be done by Howie in the draft…wtf?!?! Of course there is! The Eagles aren’t done with the draft after the first round. Dafuq??? That’s like acing a college final for a 100 level course, but the professor gives you a B because you still don’t know all the stuff taught in the 200, 300, & 400 level courses that you haven’t even had a chance to take!😂 As a long time Eagles fan… Mitchell was hands-down, the best player in the entire draft to fit our defensive needs, while also being extremely knowledgeable and well-versed in zone concepts that dominate Vic Fangio’s defensive scheme. I would challenge Ryan Clark to pick another player in this draft Better suited for the current needs in Philadelphia. I have no clue what else they could’ve done to rank higher than a B+. ESPN analysts are spread too thin across the league and instructed to only comment and focus on the same 4-5 topics on every single show, every single day. While I have no doubt that ESPN analysts are knowledgeable when it comes to football, they have no real inside knowledge of most teams. Honestly, it’s not a hard fix but I doubt it’ll get fixed. But anyways, Ryan Clark is wrong. The Eagles first round draft grade should be an A at the minimum. If I’m wrong, tell me who would have resulted in a draft grade of a or A+.

I’m not mad at ESPN for the grade. There’s definitely more work to do. We were supposed to win the division/conference last season and things fell apart down the stretch. Honestly, it never really looked right at any point last season. I like the changes we made, namely firing the coordinators but there’s still some holes on the roster and more work to do.
