A trucking school told me In California that all I need to do is go to the Gardena DMV which is a Commercial DMV and just take my General Knowledge, Air Brakes and Combination and get my CDL Permit. Once I get my permit, I can attend their school and they will take care of the ELDT requirement at their school. It’s included in the price of the school. Does this sound correct?

If you takd this theory class online do you have to goto driving school or can you go apply for your permit and go train at a job driving before testing for your actual CDL
