Good morning Nanny and Moose. Now that Ghost is back, I hope that Shamu won’t feel displaced again. Your flowers always look so pretty. By fall the marigolds will be gorgeous. It is wonderful news that Moose’s spots are non malignant. The spoon story is funny. One word…organization. The alarms are a good idea. It is a shame that our grandchildren need to think this way. When we were young, there were not the concerns that we have today. I feel bad that the young people are growing up with this reality. I wish that they had the same carefree youth that we had. Great to see you Nanny (looking great). The spoons story was funny and intriguing... Your new jewellery is beautiful and I like the new sign. That is a great (and wise) idea re -alarms and it is just fabulous to see the return of Ghost - he's very vocal - I love that. I had 2 brother cats one died at 15 the other exactly 5 years to the day later at 20 (Laurie and Fon-Fon) - Fon-Fon was very vocal and Laurie extremely quiet (at one point I wondered if he was deaf) - however, my friend made the joke one time ''Laurie never speaks because he cannot get a word in edge wise with that other chatterbox..." - We recently had a power cut a night - thankfully only for a few hours but it brought home to me I do not have a good plan - luckily my phone was charged (and last to 10 per cent before the power was restored) and I had the torch on my phone- however it brought home to me to get sorted with a proper torch and I recall you had a great device for such scenarios - can you remind us? Moose is a real trooper. My husband has had many bouts of skin cancer and those biopsies are no picnic. Like Moose, he was on blood thinners at one time and he bled for hours afterward. I hope his Moh's surgery goes well. We've been through that several times, as well. Best to you both.

You always bring a smile to my face I've saved you for now as my hubby is at the hospital seeing a consultant as he has a cyst on both kidneys One can stay the other has a lesion behind which could mean he needs the kidney out rather than just the lesion as it could effect various blood vessels Also the results of a chest scan to see if there is any cancer in lungs or lymph glands I'm really looking forward to your chat about feeling invisible etc I was amazed the other day as I am doing part my daily devotions from a book by Oswald Chambers and part of the thought for the day involved this comment Jesus was saying " Do not worry about being useful to others ;simply believe in me " this was such an affirmation that God does listen to our hearts Take care of yourselves God bless you both 😊❤

Glad that Ghost made it back to the home front. Was there really any doubt that he would never return? I think that he's still a little pinched about the Idaho vacation. Hamburgers and shakes sound so good. Now that you have all of those extra spoons you could host an ice cream party for your family sometime this summer. Vanilla and chocolate with assorted fun toppings. I have ice cream on my mind since the warm weather has started. I think I should get one of those alarms. There are times when I just don't go places as I am afraid that I wouldn't be able to fight off an attacker. Not as tough as I used to be. The flowering plants look good. I still have a few to plant, but is quite hot and humid here today. Working on indoor chores instead. I need to get out there early in the morning. My stray cat shows up every day, but isn't interested in me getting close. Just put the food and water out. I talk baby talk to him anyway. He seems to like. I know what you mean about that feeling of being invisible. I actually had someone tell me that I would be invisible to men if I kept my hair gray. Someone else said once you let your hair go gray, you are seen as "old". Good thing that I am old enough now that I don't care as much what people think of me. In fact maybe the gray keeps the bad people away. I do sometimes wonder why am I still here? I think I will continue with my art career. Recently a gallery on the other side of my state has shown interest in me exhibiting art work. It has inspired me to get busy creating some new paintings. Hopefully it will come together, but even if it doesn't, I'll have done something good and meaningful. We put them in a large dog grate (Kitty Condo) through the winter because we had a lab and wasn't sure how she would react/treat them. Now they follow us everywhere on the ranch and are a lot of fun. Good hunters too. They are still a bit skittish and very cautions when they are outside. I don't know if you can tame an older cat and they always have the feral instinct I think.

Nanny l know this is early but l knew if l didn’t ask you l would forget l got my big pot and sat my Hydrangeas in my big pot thank you for letting me know but , what do l do in the cold weather I’m in SC and l know we probably are different from you but you and Moose are so good with flowers. My parents and brother are like you and Moose they 25:40 have green thumbs but not me . Moosy should make videos for our husbands. He isn't exactly the charm school guy but he could give this younger generation (45-100 yrs) tips on how to behave. He knows about gardening and he's quite the fisherman😁 I would love for my 63 yr old husband to bust out in song every now and then😂 God bless you. I wanted to mention your smoothie. After my husband returned from his radiation treatements for cancer, I'd make a smoothie with fresh berries, yogurt, ginger root orange juice and dragon fruit. He never got the burn from the treatments.

How did you know!!? That I have looked at those alarms so many times and wondered if they were really loud enough to be of any help. I read reviews but I'm not always sure about those. A review from NANNY....I will believe 😊 We had some drainage issues last year with a couple pots too. They did need more loose material in the soil so it wouldn't hold do much water but also the pots were sitting flat on the ground which kept the water from being able to drain out if the hole freely so we elevated them using bricks around the outer edges of the pots creating an open center space for water to drain into and away from the pots. The problem seemed to clear up. It is good to see Ghost back...I was afraid something might have happened to him. Your bracelet is very pretty. Ohhh...love those cake plates. I have an assortment of those too. Looking forward to seeing more of your great bargains. ❤ J

My hubby has a habit of NEVER putting his tools back into the garage or his tool box where they belong! I found a screw driver in our linen closet and a pair of pliers in his sock drawer. He said he leaves his tools where he may need them again....What can he possibly do with a pliers in his sock drawer! We are 'cat people' too....cared for a cute little feral stray last summer, fed and tamed it and then got it vetted....gave it to our neighbor for Christmas! We have two cats of our own....a great big Tuxedo boy who is so funny and smart and a little calico girl ....demure and as soft as a bunny with blue eyes! Always like to see what you find at the thrift store, we have several good ones here, and I do fine till I watch you and Little Poet, then next week I'll have to check them out again!!! I liked the funny story about the spoons.... those guys!!! Glad your adjusting after coming back from Idaho, it does take awhile to feel 'home' again, and get back into your normal routine.
