Man the couple times I’ve left Florida to pull it’s been an amazing experience, going over stories, styles, outlooks with people is everything about this sport. From my experience it’s easier to learn from people who don’t know you or aren’t threatened by you. There’s no knock on competing in practice but some get lost in it. I remember my first tournament in Florida I met Brad Grundy and was pulling with him on the practice table and had no idea who he was until I got home and seen him on chances KZbin. But he forwarded my motivation into the sport and my thirst for knowledge by just being a random guy at a tournament showing me some pointers.

I travel for work, using Armbet has been awesome. I’ve pulled in Sweden, Mexico, Canada, Michigan, Florida, Utah. I’ve met legends on my travels. And i suck at the sport but I’m obsessed with it

I was to old and to small of a frame to start arm wrestling by the time I discovered arm wrestling was a real sport unfortunately :/ but it does fascinate me how arm wrestling training is so unique. The very reason why strongman can't come and dominate the sport. I'm in east Tennessee so I'd never get past Roby Russell lol

@@warrenkernot4522 heck yea man that's awesome and great job 💪 I'm 6'6 245lbs and 45 years old but I have small bones definitely not made for arm wrestling lol. Imagine David Hasslehoff trying to arm wrestle, that's me 😂😂. But thanks for the motivation man I appreciate it 🙏 I don't have any gym equipment or anything I could even use to build something. Everything cost so much these days can't afford anything except work, sleep, eat, and pay bills lol

@@tallpaulhutchensjr. small bones are definitely not end all be all. And you may think you have small bones even if you have normal bones if you have small tendons and low fat. I had very small wrists, literally very small, but I was underweight with 0 muscle. After 5 years of armwrestling I have put on a TON of muscles around my wrist and now they are not that small anymore. (still small tho.)
