Are they safe? No. We will be very lucky if no injury occurs. They are way too strong and way too inexperienced to pull competitively for x-rounds and not hurt something. its really dangerous actually. Eddie is a brawler. He is more of a fighter than Brian, so if Brian gets into a brawl with Eddie...he may lose this. if Brian can keep his head and apply ANY actual AW-movement and be patient...it won't even be a contest. I'm not against this, but damn if they injure themselves...it will have done more harm then good.

I adore Devon for his character, they way he has popularized armwrestling and all the wisdom he has passed on to everyone for free. Now, his recent matches however have been nothing less than a total shitshow. The rules must change because screaming like a 5 year old to the refs and your opponent isn’t what I consider to be entertaining, it’s just embarrassing and frankly, boring to watch. If you can’t get what you want in a setup without bitching to the refs, you’re the worse armwrestler in my opinion.

Devon really changed in his antics. He goes from zero to 60 in a second nowadays. And then back to zero as if nothing happened. I lost respect for him when he pulled Brzenk in 2021.

I'm a fan of Devon, and all this 'trash talk' is making me turn his matches OFF. (Also, what part of trash talk means you lie starfish on the floor like in his last match? How old is he, exactly?). I only watch the highlights after on KZbin. His matches are horrendous. For someone who loves arm wrestling so much, it's weird that he's actively making it worse.
