Hi Josh, thank you for the video. I've been told that we need to download the display link driver to use the ThinkSmart Hub, but wasn't expecting this. Is this only if you connect via the HDMI cable? Is display link standard in Windows 10?

Hi, thanks for sharing. It is good to use Microsoft Teams. May I know how can we share my screen with KZbin audio signal to the Teams meeting via this device. It seems something special setting need to be configured so as to share the laptop audio via this device.

Hey Josh, what would you recommend for Logitech Rally Plus to get the MTR experience? The Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub, or going with Logitech Tap is a better idea? Do you have any thoughts on that?

I'm not really in the habit of recommending one over the other. Both are great options, and both are probably better suited in different room setups. I would just recommend carefully analyzing the requirements of the room, the potentially needed peripherals, and then the cost (if that is a factor).

Hi Josh, nice device. But what I am really missing here is some sort of collaboration with my PC. I might want to use this device to just call people, so that I have my "real PC" free from the Teams-window. But imagine then during the call we want so look at some files, charts, sheets etc... that would then all be awkwardly small on that small screen, so I'd want the content window to appear on my "big screen PC". Which obviously can't be done because the PC isn't part of the call. This obviously points to a general lack of functionality in Teams: no multi-window. On my desk I have a two-monitor-setup. Even without the Lenovo ThinkSmart there are so very many Teams sessions where I really feel it's a shame I can't make more use of my multi-monitor setup: Why is it not possible that I can simultaniously view the slides of the presentation / whatever file is being shared on one monitor and the speaker / other participants in the call on the other monitor? The smallish "in-picture" thumbnails of peoples streams below the presentation deck are just giving such a bad opportunity to understand other people's reaction to what's being said. I really would hope MS allows for multi-window support in Teams at some point. And then of course the ThinkSmart Hub comes into play: multi-window on multi-devices. Ok, maybe it's a dream. But a nice one :-)

Any chance they will upgrade the proc or the mem?
@PicelTekno3 ай бұрын
When i saw in the spec sheet, both Processor and RAM are integrated. Therefore, there is no chance it can be upgraded.

Hi, how would you inject content from a laptop via a cable if there is no HDMI IN port but only two HDMI OUT ports? Is the content received via USB cable instead?
@ExpertOfThings3 жыл бұрын
@@TheMarcalexremond Teams "Casting" is coming out soon, which allows you to wirelessly cast your laptop screen to the MTR display when an HDMI ingest is not possible/desired.
