I revised daily for 3 months then went for my theory test. Passed with flying colours. 70/75 for my hazard perception and 49/50 for my questions. My instructor can tell how much I took in from the theory as its made me so much more aware of the road markings/signs and hazards. Understanding the theory test is key to being a safe driver so all that revision is really worth it. Also don't hurt to come back and re-read the books.

I've just done a hazard perception test online, on two different websites. The hazard mark started out way earlier when the truck was swerving, but on the other video the hazard mark was when the truck changed lanes... if this was on the real test, could you possibly click twice? Before the hazard could happen (by hazardous signs, or when the truck driver started looking tired) or during the hazard happening (when the truck driver swerved in a lane)

Hello, if there is a road like that busy high street where you pull out and see so many things, people, crossings, vans, junctions cars- at first glance it feels a little overwhelming… is there anything you recommend? Where to look orr certain things to prioritise or focus on that could ease me into it?

Hi Francis - I really hope you see this & are able to reply, as i watch your videos and would value your opinion. My question is i failed 2 times on the hazards perception test. When i was practising it, i score a passing mark but by the time of exam i score under the passing mark. So how many times is better to click on the hazards perception test during the exam. Meaning that i can see more than 5 to 7,8 flags at the bottom of the clip. As to me i think I'm confused the exact time when to click. The material I'm using right now is, the official DVSA guide to hazard perception DVD - ROM updated with more CGI clips. So i worried regarding this issue, if you don't mind, can you send me any further videos or helpful ideas to my email please. Waiting for your reply. Thanks and God Bless You bro.

@@GetDriving when and how should be clicked as you spot a hazard or a potentially developing hazard, please ?
@valentinamontero85924 жыл бұрын
What if you click on something you think it’s a hazard and it ends up not being a hazard. For example, if I was to click on parked cars because I believe it’s a hazard and it ends up not being one, does that mean that I loose points or will my points to be affected? And would parked cars and pedestrians always be a hazard? Thank you for this video btw.
@arzoo92214 жыл бұрын
Pedestrians will always be a hazard. Parked cars can be a hazard if they are on your side of the road. Also watch out for people coming out between cars e.g. children and the doors of parked cars opening.

Hi Francis - I really hope you see this and are able to reply as I watch your videos and would value your opinion. I have a theory test on Monday and feel I have square eyes as a result of all the clips and tests I have watched for the HPT aspect. What I'd like to ask is if there are slight discrepancies in timing between different websites as I know I'm clicking in the same places at the same time, but am getting different marks over different websites. This is making me panic even more when I thought I was doing not so bad. I have been using the official app from DVSA and several others in conjunction. I understand the mechanics of the test but at this rate I'll be in danger of HPT clip burnout! Do you have any advice please? Thankyou.
@GetDriving5 жыл бұрын
Hey Tina! I try and reply to ALL the comments!! What id suggest is for the hazard click twice to make sure you don't click too early and score zero. Also the real clips are cgi, they go really slowly and are much easier than the practice clips you see on most of the websites. Get a good rest, don't go mad on it or start stressing. If you've got the hang of it but a website had a wonky scoring window and you feel like you nailed the hazard at the right time you'll do perfectly fine on the real test ☺️ hope that helps!! Post again if there's anything else i can help with
