Me and my dad used to go fishing when I was younger, I loved every minute of it. Our coast on the Isle of Lewis is amazing for every species up here. Of course life gets in the way and we stopped doing it. I miss it and have often thought about starting again, this proze would be a great help

I used catch mackerel from a boat each summer with my dad on our annual holiday (gosh that's sixty years ago!!!). The video has inspired me to travel to the coast and try a bit of spinning from the beach.

I am a 11years old and are addicted to fishing. It’s unbelievable!! I have been attached to mackerel fishing in particular. I have a good spot about an hour away. I once tried fishing with a Dexter wedge and loved it. But it snapped off and I was devastated. I would love this combo soo much.

Have always loved sea fishing and the clarity of mind it brings. It's like a form of meditation. Having problems casting big rods and bait recently due to Arthritis but lure fishing looks easier on the shoulders.

I'm getting on a bit but ( living on Wirral ) have always been surrounded by the sea. I have always simply done and enjoyed local lake and pond fishing but have always hankered to have a genuine go at sea fishing. I love sea fishing because you never know what you’re going to catch. The tackle is cheaper than course fishing, and 9 times out of 10 you can eat what you catch, and it will change your mind about fresh fish.

When I started fishing ,My mental health was bad, I just lost my grandad and my mum got me a fishing set up from Ali express. So I took that rod and ever since I got it I’ve been fishing every day for the past year. Caught loads of mackerel with it and it was the best hobby I could’ve got into. If it weren’t for fishing I don’t know if I would be here.
